I keep reading, ignoring Jessie, Jackson, and Riley.
Dear Diary,
He is gone. My poor babies' birth father is gone. He ran off with only a simple note. I am too distraught to read it. Only 2 months until the summer solstice. I hope everything is okay. Mother says it would be proper for the twins to be born in the other side. I wonder if this affects them as much as it will affect me. They don't have other hybrid parents to help me out with this. This is a very new lifestyle. I hope my poor daughters survive. I have come up with names for them. Cameron and Mai. Beautiful, right?

Later that day, I was sitting in a dark room. The man across from me was one I had known for a long time. He requested a meeting, and here we were.
"So you will do it?"
"Anything for my bestest pal." I said, leaning back in my chair.
"It won't be easy."
"If my job was easy, everyone would be doing it."
He left, promising the plan we had just come up with would commence within the next month. I was almost as excited for it as I was the upcoming visit from Earth.
