This is one of the most stupid ideas I have heard, and it was already suggested several hundreds of times. If you can't even ignore the Archive, a collection of pixelated messages, I pity you. "Lag" is one of the stupidest excuses to remove it I have ever heard. It's not going to lag the whole site from your inbox. Like someone else said, it helps to get back messages you accidentally deleted. You guys are being stupid about this, and you need to cut the crap.

Because it's pointless. All this is going to do is waste the admins' time putting the button back in. It's really kind of dumb how people demand the button be put back, when you could just ignore the Archive section. It's stupid, and that's why.

Adding the delete button was a waste of time in the first place, then. This would be infuriating to rich/famous people (not me) who get sent "CUD U BE MAH FREND PLOX" and have litterally HUNDREDS of messages cluttering up their box. If it's in the archive section at least don't make the number appear in the corner only counting the messages in the inbox.

Also, since your messages get removed automatically after one month, What was the point of the Archive button if you cant find messages from 3 months ago ?
