There are some flaws in this idea.
-Parent accounts are now regular player accounts. If the settings for the microphone is accessed from the player, the player doesn't need his parents.
-People could start saying stuff not kid-friendly. Roblox doesn't want that, but personally I don't care. It's Roblox's choice though.
-How would volume control work? People could scream in the microphone. I don't think Roblox can access microphone settings since the microphone is the main thing that gets the sounds. It's not like Roblox will just automatically lag a little and fix the volume.
If this idea were to happen.
-Voice chat should only be used by permission with other players. If A & B want to chat, but C only wants to chat with only B, then that C can talk to B without listening to A, A can only talk to B, and B can hear both A & C.
-Voice chat should have a setting for whether or not the person will allow not kid-friendly words, that way, bad words only chat with bad words, and good words only chat with good words. |
