ROBLOX does not have the time, neither the money, nor the staff available to create scripting tutorial videos. Try Googling "Lua for dummies learning videos" or something like that, IDK. ~robloxkid08, the Guy who Gave the Zombie the TNT~

First of all the basis of the Roblox community depends on players Learning Scripting and making games, so other players in turn can make games and they earn money. Its a fairly adequate system. If Roblox wants to sustain in the long-run they will evantually have to do it. All of you that have said or will say Roblox doesn't have the time or money, where have you drawn that statistic, I'm pritty sure Roblox has time to make weekly Updates, look into forums, Scot the site for behaviour violating the terms of Roblox's rules and making a series of Hats, gears, Etc... As so it can be concluded your assumption is false, it has no valid foundation. Plus please if you can, go look up the new from time to time, it can help you know what Roblox is doing.

There are perhaps tutorials out there, but have you failed to recognised the quality and difficulty of those Tutorials? If not I reccomend trying to empathise for those who are unable to learn of those 2nd rated tutorials or read the post carfuly this time. Thank you

Check out this diagram. Roblox creates scripting tutorials --> People use those tutorials --> People make higher quality places, even the NBCers --> Roblox loses storage space --> Roblox has to pay for a TON more servers --> Roblox loses a TON of money No, scripting tutorials WILL NOT encourage people to buy BC, because you can already make a place and script it without having BC, and anybody who wants to have 10 places would have already bought BC. It's good for the players, but it does NOTHING for ROBLOX. It's a win-lose situation, and ROBLOX is on the site that's worse to be on. This could even cause ROBLOX to go bankrupt if they lose enough money, which could upset the delicate balance of their... well, their bank balance. Every NBC user and their places are a burden on their servers. If those places become higher quality, then ROBLOX has to buy more servers and that will make them lose money. Okay, YES, admittedly, it would be possible that SOME people would be attracted to buy BC, but there is no guarantee that the amount of BCers attracted would outweigh the cost of making the videos and the cost of the servers for the NBC places. Therefore, it's possible that this could plunge ROBLOX into debt and eventually into bankruptcy. YES, this is a worst case scenario, but you have to SOLVE the worst case scenario and then work TOWARDS the best case scenario! What if you implement this and the worst case scenario happens? You'll have no backup plan, and you will go bankrupt! ~robloxkid08, the Guy who Gave the Zombie the TNT~

@Robloxkid, Aw, I never thought of that. Some would be attracted to BC but not enough. It is worse case scenario, but that probably won't happen. Tons of people buy BC. It probably won't cover up, but maybe people would thank roblox and but BC just for the update. Small change, 2 bucks for BC they get, but it can add up, just like box tops. 10 cents, but can add up creating a DECENT amount of money. Yeah, that probably might happen, probably not. I still support, though.

First of all Roblox hasn't gone broke, by making all these hundreds of fancy UPDATES, now yet again this assumption of yours has been based on mere Hypothesis. Please correct yourself. There are millions of games in Roblox if you insist they lack the resources to extend their storage ,then you are highly mistaken. To improve the quality of a game you must upgrade its Sub-Structure, In other words you must improve the quality of learning, we must note a significant factor here. That many parents only allow their children to play Roblox because their suppose to Learn. Now lets assume if the child isn't learning, their parents wont apporve off it, they won't play roblox, the Byproduct of this situation leads to less Bc subscribers which in turn leads to Roblox loosing capital, Not the other way around!

@GGPlaceholder: Read my paragrpah on worst case scenarios. @rike619: This update is different. Most updates are BC only, but you can't make this BC only unless you host the videos on this site, which ROBLOX doesn't have the facilities to do. Therefore, they will opt for offsite hosting which will require them to make it for NBCers as well. Yes, there are millions of games on ROBLOX. However, at least 10 million games are blank baseplates made by alts/inactive people, if not more. Stop with the pretentious buzz words and talk like a normal forumer. If we've survived for 5 years+ without this idea, then we certainly aren't going to lose money on this deal at this point in time. We'll probably lose more money implementing this than we would gain from it, hence ruining ROBLOX. ~robloxkid08, the Guy who Gave the Zombie the TNT~

Robloxkid08 read this First of all you have not sourced where you draw these statistics, if you read the "Roblox News" you will notice that Roblox has even introduced Mega Servers, Servers capable of addressing up to a hundred players allready in its Test out stage this fact eliminates your inaccurate assumption stating that Roblox doesn't have enough storage place's. Secondly this update does not differ from others in many aspects, you clearly have your facts wrong. Roblox has continued to many hundreds of updates, including weekly updates, "I HAVE NOT ONCE NOTICED ROBLOX state that they have OPT for OFF SITE HOSTING" thefore your crazy fantasy story of them to object for such a policy. Thirdly have you not seen what drives the Roblox system? It requires a series of players "LEARNING", Yes "LEARNING" how to Script, The system is dependant on Players then creating Games, which then in turn motivates other Players to play games, this system is flawed like any other as it has no other feature supporting it, Games have continued to become more and more advance, excluding the majority of players who are either unable to compete in terms of being unable to "Learn" how to make games. Now if the Gamers in Roblox don't have games able to satisfy their needs they will opt to leave, in other words they will not buy BC, Less BC equals to Less revenue. Lastly Roblox has survived for a long time, but has had players consistantly exiting, so if roblox had implemented this system before they would have had more players, to simplify this, there would be more BC's right now!
