Either read it all and understand it or don't post anything. If you don't understand something ask and I will try to make it clear to you.
On Roblox. Mainly the website, there are many areas where it...lacks, or could use improvements. My idea is to have it so that anyone can make a "extension like app" that adds functionality to the site.
The first use that comes to mind is making a extension that automatically posts a signature at the end of your posts on the forums. (Which by the way could be done pretty easily now but has no official support and could be broken anytime Roblox updates or changes their sites)
This would work kinda like it does on Facebook where you have to give it permission to access what it wants and could possibly include only be able to access certain areas (such as only the forums or only text boxes.
Tell me what you think along with any suggestions, comments, or questions. Also say support or not support and why or why not.
Thank You☺ |

Any Supporters
Also I forgot to say that you don't have to worry about people attempting to do bad things because it would requires complex scripting in another language such as Java[script] and most people wouldn't know how to do this. |

Yes! Your Idea is the best I have seen all day! I support 9001%! It's over nine thousand!!! |

Mostly the website although I'm sure you could make extensions for the others (I just can't think of any examples) |

So basically, you're saying that we should be able to modify the code on the ROBLOX website, basically allowing us to do whatever the heck we want?
In MC, this is fine because the game is P2P and it's an offline sandbox game, so there's nothing that you can abuse with this. On a game like ROBLOX, it ain't.
Within hours of this being made, there'd be people giving themselves banhammers upon entry into games, giving themselves infinite Tix and Robux, deleting forum posts, etc.
It wouldn't be pretty.
Absolutely no support. |

You wouldn't be changing the code that already exist you would be adding code such as you can for internet browsers. Also somethings would be unmodifiable such as Tix, BC, and other things along those lines. |

you could still add the money making codes though |

No just no Support for Third Party mods would make it all the more simple for people to run exploiting programs like CheatEngine which if I may point out PLENTY OF NOOBS USE ALREADY also Third Party software has the potential to infect ROBLOX with some nasty viruses which will make this site no longer safe for kids. |

I'm sure you realize that Google Chrome already has some extensions for Roblox also I said that stuff wouldn't be accessible. You don't see Facebook apps having that trouble because they restrict access to it. |
|
|
If you've seen Mine-C. The third party modifications also brought in an era of exploitation. There would be a breech somewhere in the game that would allow these programs to do just what Cheat Engine did back in 2008-2010.
And with the ability for people to create new, updated programs when bugs are patched, then a lot of people would resort to this new age of "haxxing" |

I'm sure you realize many people already use Cheat Engine even to this day and that there are already browser extensions for Roblox (ie search the Google Chrome store for Roblox and look at the results) |
