You are right. Checked on wikipedia, but saw only limited use. The real machine guns were from the germans.

The first ever design, if I am right, was created by the pepper gun, which was similar to a gatling gun, but was fired by each pull of the lever and trigger. And it was a pistol/revolver. And if you messed something up, all 6 of the chambers would go off at once.

I'm American. WHY you said that??? I ment the machine guns were better and more wildly used by WW1 because of the germans creating their own designs that are succsesful. I also checked wikipedia that also the U.S. also used machineguns in WW1, just forget the "rifles are replacing machineguns."

THe puckle gun of 1718 (never Used in war but sort of the first machine gun) Wasn't too many RPM but about 9, whichwould be fast for then when a soldier with a musket could only fire about 2-3 per minute.

Rifles to me are a good shot of accuracy to a certain extent. Thank you Colonization and Blunderbusses.

AND THat gun was British. And what do you mean the AMericans used them, yes they did, you forget the British who fought for about 3 years before your army arrived? And the french. I'm British. And the Indian ones with the British, and the Austrailians, and the New Zealanders and all the other ones who were with the British Empire. France Wasn't.

I know that it was used by the British, but if America didn't use them when in the phase of Colonization, we may have not had as many schematics on rifles that we have today. We may possibly would not have guns that are as accurate as they are today. Again, I find myself to act like Harry Turtledove. You should read his books. They are great.

I know of an alternate history forum, but I won't link to it here, because people under 13 aren't allowed.

Hey, you said you on;y know less about history, and then giving me lots of information about the machine guns that were invented in 1777-1800's. I know about them. I MEANT THAT THE GERMANS MADE MACHINEGUNS THAT CAN SHOOT MANY BULLETS A SECOND. Does the early machine guns do that. They can, but they were not used a lot in war. I meant that Machineguns were first noticed by WW1. And are you calling me a German?!?!?

The Maxim Gun was British, and the first true modern automatic machine gun.

I know machine guns like the Agar or coffe-mill gun, the gatling gun that was the first machine gun, and also i found out that the gun was used to destroy and conquer non-industrized countries.

And the maxin gun was the first self machine gun, meaning it could fire automatic bullets and was widly used around all sides in WW1.

I know this isn't a machine gun, but my favorite guns are rifles such as the Mosin Nagant (I may have mispelled Nagant.) and the Gewher 43.But what I like the most is Springfield.

#51173943Saturday, July 23, 2011 7:20 PM GMT

Arguements are what can make history as well. The Cold War was a big arguement as well. If I am right, it mainly started when Fidel Castro, dictator of Cuba, was found to have missiles on Cuba. This was called the Cuban Missile Crisis. They then had a failed assassination of Fidel Castro at the Bay of Pigs.I think that was what started the beggining. You may know the Bay of Pigs mission as Operation 40 on Black Ops.

Yeah, but Black Ops was fictinal.
gavindude97
#51175597Saturday, July 23, 2011 7:47 PM GMT

Yes, but the first mission, Operation 40, isn't. It actually is about the real event of the failed assassination on Fidel Castro. I am not sure that all events that Masonw ent through on Op. 40 was true, but the operation itself is actually a real operation. Well, anyways, Cold War lead to a lot of men to be killed. Not that it used any real guns, but I mean Vietnam War.And the Vietnam War is an extension of Cold War.It was basically a revolt against Communism.America pulled out because of 10K deaths.Anyways, they decided that after they pulled out Korea divided across the 38th Longitude.
