I have my Quality Level set to 21 (max) and all my [Material]Detail to High.
Yet, I don't have the shadows.
Any idea why? |
Studio->Tools->Settings. In the settings window, select Rendering, set Shadows to All. If that's too much lag, choose Character Only. They disappear for a reason when it's on Auto. |

A'right, I'll try it later.
thanks! |

@computersRule
I have them to CharacterOnly, and yet, nothing... |

This is weird. Ok, so if you have it manually set on high settings, then it SHOULD work. The only thing I can think of is that your graphics card just can;t render it properly. This is pure speculation, of course. What are your computer stats? |
@UltimateMastodon
I hand-set the quality to High.
Computer stats as in what? |
@eviljulian: Computer stats as in:
CPU
RAM
Hard drive space
Graphics card (GPU)
For Windows machines, you can go to the System Information program. Just search for it in the Start Button search. You might have to root around for some stuff. If you need help, ask. |

Ok, that actually looks pretty good. Except you don't have a unit on the RAM. Is that MB or what?
Otherwise, I guess it's not a hardware issue. |
I don't know, it just said that for RAM. |
Ok, we'll assume that's MB. Yeah, that's moderately good. I don't know what the problem could be. |

Someone said they have a fail computer that the ambient shadows work on but a really good computer that they don't work on. It's really weird. :O
