At the current time, models can only be moved within 1 stud of each other. That means that (unless you use cframe) a model with always be at least 1 stud away from another brick. I was recently trying to make a dot matrix for (something) and instead of puting down each of the 100s of bricks, I made a model and copied it and then placed it around. But I couldn't. Why? Because the model couldn't fit flush with the other bricks. It was 1 stud away.
Support?
Models should also be affected by the stud grid (1 stud, 1/5 stud, no stud, etc). |

Cframe the size of the bricks to be 1, THEN try it. It probbably would work then. |

1.) Place model as close as possible to destination
2.) Move on Axis tool
3,) Move into place
4.) ???
5.) PROFIT |

How do you CFrame size? CFrame is for moving stuff..... |
|
|
No.
The grid is there to make things more organized.

Somehow, I have a bad feeling about moving models without the stud grid with bricks of incredibly different sizes in the same model (it seems like it might cause problems, but I can't exactly put my finger on why), but it seems like a good idea, so 50% support.

It is possible, Even though Wiki doesnt have a thread on such, Youtube has tutorials on how it's done. |

@uneekIncendi: What if you want to have more than one brick within a one stud space? What if you want to copy that same sort of thing over hundreds of studs?

robloxkid08,
Then you use CFrame.

@uneekIncendi: What if you have thousands of bricks you want to move at one time and don't feel like doing the tedious job of moving them all?

robloxkid08,
A "Whole Model CFrame Mover" tool has already been scripted and can be found in the Free Models.

You realize the existance of RBLX.Lua, yes?
That's how. |

@uneek
Not a lot of people know how to CFrame, or even know what it means for that matter.

@uneekIncendi: That's good to hear. In that case, this is not needed.
However, you could have said that at the start and we could have avoided this whole thing. I didn't realize that there was a Whole Model CFrame Tool in Free Models.

punkster1234567,
They can learn.
If they're too lazy to learn, then they don't even deserve to know.

@uneek
Most of them never heard of CFrame, therefore they have no idea what to ask, etc.
