We all know that they recently released a way to teleport to other places by putting a model in your game or by scripting it into a brick.
What I suggest is that the public domain model is made into a GEAR.
EXCEPT, it will be edited so you can choose the place you want the teleporter to go to IN-GAME.
This is how it would look and work:
When the gear is SELECTED, the teleporter gear is a DOWNSCALED mesh of the public domain model.
ALSO, there would be a GUI number pad that would let you insert the place ID that you want to go to, and a box under that where you can type the SPAWN LOCATION you want it to spawn you at.
When you click ANYWHERE ON THE SCREEN with the gear selected, the full sized version of the gear will be placed INFRONT OF YOU.
NOTE: If you did not type in the place ID you will not be able to place the gear until you do.
The teleporter may NOT be picked up after it is set down.
TWO MINUTES from when you place the teleporter, it will be automatically removed.
NOTE: The gear will NOT 'reload' or 'regen' UNTIL the one you placed is removed. (Two minute wait until the gear is regened.)
All players may use the device after it has been placed.
With this new gear, I suggest a new gear GENRE OR an option on GAME CONFIGURATION SETTINGS to allow teleportation devices or not.
Any details described in this suggestion may be altered such as the apperance of the gear.

Support, but I think that it could be abusable. Some people could bring it into a place that allows this gear and block off entrances, regen buttons, etc etc. I think it should be removed as soon as you go through. For group teleporting, you should be able to set how many players go through depending on how many you set in the "Players" box. |

Good point, as I said they could change the design of the teleporter.
If this could still be a problem, they could always make the teleporter Non-CanCollide. |

Non-cancollide is a good diea, but the teleport script can still block you. |

The whole script with it lifting you in the air or freezing you can be removed.
It could simply give you the gui that would let you say yes or no on teleporting to the place.
And as stated before, they can choose all of the details.
If they like the idea, they will find a way to make a work better. |

100% support. Not that many places have a teleporter. The price should be 100 Robux or more cuz it is lots of advanced scripting.

This Gear is a good idea, But let me make a small point.
I observed the Teleporter Model Scripts in the Studio, and They were A LOT. Just think of how much more work they would do to make it a gear. |

Tl;dr. But I think they DID do this.., Check out the ROBLOXian pool and at the top an ad should appear in about a few seconds then click PLAY then somehow it takes you to that certain game.... You probably couldn't understand this. :P |

I feel this gear is "too advanced". It the sort of gear you will find in games but not sold in the catalouge. |
