I have had this problem for months now and I finally decided to post it at the forum as a techical issue since It hasn't been fixed yet.
Before I get to the point I'm going to explain that - my internet works perfectly - it's very fast and so is my computer. I live in a city so the connection center (or whatever it's called) is near.
The only problems with disconnection I have is when I join a game. Before I get to play the game I immediently get a disconnection. (Even in my own game)
It basically looks like this:
*clicks to join server*
*loading screen*
*pops up: "You have been disconnected"* |

Restart your router. If that doesn't work, restart your computer.

Didn't work.
(Apperantly I can play solo games but when connecting to a public server it disconnects) |

I hate people that don't read the topics carefuly before reading.
EVERYTHING WORKS FINE EXCEPT ROBLOX.

I think the problem is in Roblox and not me.

website works fine (and so does the solo Roblox playing)
but when I try to go on a public server I lose connection. |

you can try going into your options and work with them for the games. |

I know you have probaly tried these but please try them in ORDER.
1.Use an internet speed check other than the one you may have used before if done at all.
2.Re-install Roblox.
3.Allow Roblox through your firewall. <---Highly likely.
4.Contact your internet provider. |

This connects to what I had.
Every time I go on a public server, it loses connection EVERY 10 minutes I play on it.
It's just that I don't know how to reinstall roblox again though |

How to fix it.
Install IE 8.
Reboot your PC.
Worked for me. And I'm Windows XP too. |

I'm joining the club too. My case isn't as bad though since I can get on some games, but most of the time I lost connection on games like Base Wars etc. I know my problem though, it's my internet connection. 0.3MB download speed makes me cringe. It's because my internet isn't connected to a main telephone line, so I'm going to connect it wirelessly in a week or two. |

ROBLOX Runs using IE only*. You must have the latest IE. |
