Some people in ROBLOX speak different languages then others, so i think there should be a translate button in chat. EX: If someone speaks in french and you speak english, hit the translate button beside their chat then something will pop up saying Translate to what language? then you choose a language and then it shows what you were trying to translate in the language of your choice. Plz support. |

It would be hard for ROBLOX to go through a bunch of languages and succesfully translate them all. Also, I'm not sure if people would have good enough grammar in game to be translated well. If they could start working on it that would be good though. |

I kinda had the same idea, what I suggest is a language tab at the top of your screen when you enter roblox. When you scroll over the tab you pick your language and everything is that language. When you play games, everything every1 else says translates. support |

Eh sure. It'd be pretty hard for ROBLOX to implement, but heck, better than using google translate. |

Even Google's translation isn't accurate. What makes you think ROBLOX can pull something off this stunning?
The closest accurate thing we have of this age is Bing's (Microsofts's).

Support with one change.
Make it an auto-detect translator, then all you have to do in ROBLOX™ settings is tell the computer what language you wan't to translate to.
And it can all be free, Google™ is a free search engine, so ROBLOX™ will be able to use a translate powerd by Google™ :3 |

Translation is inaccurate.
They could be saying 'Hello friend', and, unlikely, but it may translate to something like 'You're an idiot', (Or worse O.o) and they could be banned. |

I havent seen a single person speak a different language on roblox. |

Is this translation suppose to be completely perfect? What if I accidentally insult someone, and get banned?
Google translate:
Est-ce la traduction suppose d'être totalement parfait? Que faire si j'ai accidentellement insulter quelqu'un, et d'être banni?
---
Bing translate:
Est cette traduction suppose d'être complètement parfait ? Que se passe-t-il si j'ai accidentellement insulter quelqu'un et obtenir interdite ?
---
Hard to tell which one's right, right?

Translate 'sfdugsdhghsrigug' to french, please.

I honestly don't see how anything could go wrong with that, how something would hinder our current gameplay. It would be a relief for players who don't speak English, because they don't have to say what they want to say in an unlearned language.
Full support all the way |
