Not knowing one thing does not mean I do not know other things. |

lol there are more than 7 |
|
|
Blocco you seem informed in this topic, may you explain to me what they are? |
|
|
The problem is, I think I know what they are - but not 100% sure.
Level 1 security is an average local or normal script.
Level 7 security is an command bar?
Level 2/3 is corescript or execute script? |

An identity is used to prohibit certain actions from being done. For example, to prevent users from destroying the CoreGui and the descendants of it, only certain identities have access to its contents. Please note that there is no "incremental filter" that grants higher identities more power than lower identities. Each identity is an enumerated way to tell the Script Context whether or not to let each thread perform an action. |

I think it's if one fails, then another backs it up. |

Instead of "incremental filter," I think "incremental relationship" better gets the job done.
Also:
An identity of 1 is used by Document Scripts (Local URLs)
An identity of 2 is used by Scripts and LocalScripts
An identity of 5 is used by the Command Bar (Remote URL) |

@pfctink
You are not one single fraction of a bit close. |

Fractions of a bit? Ewwww. |

Execute Script: 1 (same for server loadfile)
(Local)Scripts: 2
CoreScripts: 4
Command bar: 5
Client loadfile: 6
RBXPri/Other haxs: 7
Note that an higher security level doesn't necessarily give you more powers. The number means nothing. The numbers are just like identifiers. For example, Execute Script is 1, yet, it can do more than normal scripts, which are 2.

@Blocco
I thought I heard about this before, and no wonder. To me I recognized them as just identities, and did not understand why people consider them security levels.
Do you use the printidentity() method, if so - then I've known about them for some time, but hardly paid attention. |

RBXPri is an epic client that allows you to host/join private servers. Interested? |
|
|
Private servers you say, is it the same as the old RobloxPri thing? I forgot it's name. |
