The men scream loudly when I pull the bullets out, but I talk them through the worst, stoping the blo.odflow with a few layers of bandages. After I finish, I stand up, keeping away from the narrow slit in the bunker, and turn to the private who was manning the MG only a few minutes ago, who is now firing down into the kill-box... I would ask him what happened in a calmer time, but in the middle of a fire fight is certainly not the best time, to I hurry over to Weaver, who has set up a map on a small desk, and is conversing with other officers. |

I watch as more boats hit the beach and men pour out. "We need to take these dam bunkers now!" I pull out my Colt Revolver and aim at the bunker firing. |

I hear the radio crackling and a faint voice as I come in range, something about explosives I reply into my radio before the ramp falls "We have a engineer on our boat, Give us your position and ill pass them onto the boss." I put the radio back and watch the ramp fall and the soldiers infront of me get cut down, luckily the fire stops and my team regroups behind a series of tank blocks and, before me teams engineer, start clearing the tank stops I say "Save a charge thers a bunker door that needs blowing down!" |

I watched as the rest of the men made it up against the side of the bunker. I quickly jutted out my head, and caught a glimpse of a sandbag wall. "MG forty two." I warn. |

The next few minutes are quiet as the enemy regroups (presumably), and Weaver takes hold of the moment quickly, comendeering the bunker and a few smaller emplacements surrounding it. We count up our wounded, dead, and dying, and I am charged with taking care of them accordingly. I tend to the injured, most of them from another unit, but one happens to be a man I know, Alex, a engineer. He has been shot in the chest, and it seems as if it has gone pretty deep. I swollow, and go to work on him... |

"South side of the bunker, right in front. I'm under an MG, the door to my right. Do you copy? This is Jonah (whatever my last name was)." I answer the voice, watching men sprint up the beach and get shot. |

As I charge further up the beach, not firing a single shot from either of my weapons, see a solid peice of cover and franticly sprint towards it, but as I near it an MG 42 had started firing at me, and had clipped my left leg, I , weak as I am, drop to the ground just out of the range of the MG. I think the soldier firing at me must have seen my radio equipment and classed my as a priority target, as he was still firing meters from my feet, then, as I stop and think about my injury the pain in my leg suddely starts rughing into me and I start to scream, "Help! Help, somebody, I got shot!" Even though I am shouting what seems like the top of my voice, soldiers rish past me as if nobody is there. |

I hear the scre..aming in the radio and I see him, about twenty meters from me. I wach him as he starts to die, nothing I can do. A dash even that far would be suic..idal. I decide to run and get him thinking I would probably die at that beach anyways. I manage to get him and hide behind the solid object.
"I'm Jonah, I'm no medic but I'm staying with you. One radioman to another." |

I look down the beach seeing a man hit. He had radio equipment as well. "Dammit.." I looked at the MG sandpost then back down at him through my scope. "About 300 yards.." I took aim and fired at the german manning the MG |

Finding it useless I shoot at the MG closest to us. I try to drag the man towards the bunker but knew there wasn't a chance of survival if I did that. |

I diver down next to the two. "GO I'LL COVER YOU!" I stood back up spinning around as the MGs fired at us. I felt something hit my my gun and then saw a bullet has skimmed it and my skin. "That's going to leave a nice scar.." I began firing. "GO!" Afew more men began shooting. |

I get up and try to get the man up so I can support him to the bunker. I get shot in the left arm and drop my rifle but I continue to help him. |
