ROBLOX cutscenes.

A few notes before i explain: *If you also had this idea, I did not copy it. Great minds think alike, ya' know? *Although this is scriptable, It would be fun to have. I bet that alot of people don't know how to do this. *Do not say things like "This is stupid", "Get off the forums", ect. If you are going to say "Bad idea", give a good reason. i will try my best to overlook that flaw. Ideas and "Constructive Criticism" are encouraged. Now for the suggestion. I was playing GollyGreg's "Parody" and I was thinking " If only i could make something this good" while my friend was thinking "I wanna leave.Now". Then, just as i was also wanting to leave, I thought "What if EVERYONE could make cut scenes like GollyGreg did here", So here's how it would work: you would make a brick and go to Insert/Object/Scene. In the properties, You would see Action one,two,three,four,and five.You would put the name of the model or brick into a textbox. then, you would select what it does (EX: walk, jump, panic) and for how long. Finnaly, you would type what it would say.This would be the same for 2-5. HOW IT WOULD LOOK: you would walk onto, or into, the brick, and your ROBLOXian would freeze.The screen would fix onto the item. The model would do it's action and say it's line, then go to the next action. When it's done, the screen will fix back onto you and you would play as normal. As an extra thought, another feature could be Action. It would be the same as Scene, but instead of freezing you, it would just do a single action as you walk by. the screen will not fix onto the item. Unlike Screen, Action can be delayed. this would allow you to have the item wait to do it's action, which may be helpful if you wanted to surprise a player by making the floor move from there feet a few studs away. TL;DR version: Scene - allows you to make a cutscene for your game Action- allows you to make surprises or special effects easily and effectively What do you think?

Awsome idea :D But 2 ways how this could be easier: Gollygreg makes a cutscene kit. Gollygreg puts how to make a cutscene on roblox.wiki. But this is most likely so support :)

@SoulStealer I dont know how to make cutscenes so I suppoert and THE THREAD OWNAR ISNT A NUB!It will be useful for movie making studio groups.AWUSUM IDEA PLAWX!(insert TEH :3 FAIS Here)

I say no. If you aren't able to make one yourself, they you shouldn't make one. Cutscenes are easy enough to make anyways. ~ Dumbledore ~

I did read them. Not too many people haves uses for cutscenes and they are easy to make. This is why Roblox released plugins, so people can make their own tools for people who are too lazy to do it the real way. ~ Dumbledore ~
