It's the year 1946. Rapture, a huge underwater city, has just been created by Andrew Ryan, one of the world's smartest and richest men. Soon, the city fills up with doctors, engineers, and many other professionals. The city consists of multiple areas, all huge, connected by pipes. The city thrives for years to come.
Fast forward to 1952. Frank Fontaine, an ordinary gang.ster, gains huge power, thousands of followers, and manages to convince people that Ryan in evil. However, some people, including Rapture's best scientists, stick by Andrew Ryan, and thus, the Civil War begins between Fontaine and Ryan.
Now it's 1959. The Civil War is still going on, yet it doesn't stray too much into public life and society. Ryan Industries have now uncovered a sea slug which produces a red liquid, known as ADAM. Using this, scientists create Plasmids. Plasmids are gel-like substances which you inject in yourself, giving the user the power to change the world itself.
However, in order to make a profit, Plasmids are bought with ADAM instead. Now everyone is hunting for ADAM. Ryan Industries begins to mass produce Plasmids, but it turns into a fatal mistake. Scientists discover that long-term consumption of ADAM, leads to mental deformation, turning the user into a very agressive, powerful, human. These people are known as Splicers.
Now it's New-Year's Eve, and when everyone's partying, things take a turn for the worse. A group of splicers come in and destroy everyone. It doesn't take long for the splicers to take control of the city, making all human life nearly-extinct. The only survivors are Ryan and some of his best agents.
Then you come in. You're on a plane. It crashes in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, and only you and a few other people survive. Trying to keep your head above the water, you spot a lighthouse, less than a minute's swim. Yet, why is a lighthouse in the middle of the ocean.....

Appearance: Blonde short hair. Icy blue eyes. 6 ft, and 140 lbs. Scar on left hand.
Personality: Outgoing and friendly, Ike is typically the first one to do things others wouldn't. Though he is usually not frightened easily, he is concerned about his current situation. He is quick to care for most people, and is usually the first to help.
Bio: Ike came from a rather poor family. Even though they could feed themselves properly, they rarely had money for any extra luxuries, such as candy, or games, although they came out of poverty and made a decent amount of money in his teen years. Ike was on the plane to see some relatives in Europe. He has some experience using guns, seeing as he hunted with his father, and he often went to the shooting range.

Rules
What I say, goes.
No godmodding or ubering, as always.
Romance is allowed, BUT AT YOUR OWN RISK. IF YOU GET BANNED, IT IS YOUR FAULT.
Only admin is ME. I will announce if there are any others.
There are no weapons to begin with. I will announce when we can get weapons.
You start off with no plasmids. Again, I decide that.
There MAY be deaths. I'm not guaranteeing there will or won't be though.
Ammo is scattered throughout Rapture, as well as Medkits and Hypos. I will explain these later. You can't make them pop-out of thin air.
When searching bodies, you don't always find something. Please try to be rational and deal with not finding something everytime.
Rules can, and will, be made throughout the roleplay as well.
