I own a Windows 7 laptop, and I can play games. So yeah, it works. But, depending on which OS you are using. Some games don't work on Mac. Some games don't work for Windows.

I also own Windows 7 and on a laptop. Works perfectly fine. DON'T get Windows Vista though. It has problems and crashes a lot.

You can use more than Windows 7 OS for roblox. You can use Windows XP(although I wouldn't recommend it), Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, whatever the mac OS is called, and IOS(although IOS is for iPhones, iPads, etc). Also they are going to add support for Linux but it could be a while.
