It is equiped with a few things so it wouldint fall into a black hole or something. ( By that i mean it could sence the dangerous thing and avoid it )

Farahis explained to the other councillors that he had no family, in every sense of the word. He had been brought up in nation-funded foster care. As a matter of course, due to rules and regulations imposed on the global nation by the homeworld's Council, all children raised in nation-funded foster care owed a debt to the nation, and so were forced to work for the government following their education. Farahis had just happened to be especially intelligent, collected, and 'lucky'. The people knew that 'luck' was merely a philosophical concept, but it was still used to describe the overcoming of monumental odds.
And thus, Farahis had ascended to the position of Defense Councillor on the Lower Council, and then Crisis Leader of the Crisis Council.
Adventure continued to work on extracting the Range Surveyor's FTL drive. Over half of the unnescersary linkages between the drive and surrounding systems, or between the unnescersary systems surrounding the surrounding systems of the drive, had been severed.
