Let me explain.
Bob goes to build a contest place.
Bob goes to free models.
Bob pulls out lava and takes credit for it.

What SHOULD happen.
----
Bob goes to build a contest place.
Bob goes to free models.
Error, cannot insert free models in contest places!

I'm sick and tired of seeing all these free modeled crap games winning. I make all of my games without excessive use of free models and lose. Most WITHOUT free models, so I could manage no free modeled things. Perhaps a script but no more. I build everything you see in my place. Why can't these idiots do the same?
If there ARE free models in the place before the contest, and they try entering, make them not eligable to compete. This could benefit roblox.
Also make it so if they didn't build the model, and it's in "My Models" it cannot be inserted.
TL;DR - I think we should have a system to stop noobs from putting things they didn't make in their contest places.
I understand I'm not the first to suggest this, but I do think it's a good idea. |

Place a Free Model in a place.
Save it into a new model.
Use it.
Easy workaround. Technically, I'm using a model that I saved. |

Maybe the only thing available are the weapons, structures, and bricks from the toolbox (even though they technically are free models...).
Anyways, how do you propose on "tagging" free models? Tagging every brick? Locking every script? Fixing every value? |

What isn't there to like about this idea? A contest is supposed to show skill, not free models. I agree it needs to be entertaining, but that doesn't mean it should just be free models all over the contest page. I want to see awesome games. I don't want to see laggy free models. |

just because something is not a free model does not mean you deserve a medal. if free models beat your hand build place, then you need to try harder. |

Giggle, people usually only judge by initial appearance in contests.
Rarely any of them actually play it. Most of them are only in it for the hat.
Look at all the current contest places. The thumbnail might look pretty, but that's only a show meant to deceive. |
