First, let me start off by telling you that I sort of half disagree with myself on my own idea. Why is that? Because I think that the Supersafe Chat System is completely fine the way it is. But, I've been seeing a lot of people who want an update, and my little insignificant opinion cannot compare. So, I decided to let you lot decide what to make of it - as long as your arguments are proper and polite. Now, here's my idea. If you choose to use the Supersafe Chat method of speaking, then, instead of clicking on set bubbles of text picked from a menu, a user would be free to speak. However, with some limitations. Here's how it would work: ROBLOX would have a dictionary of words that can be said. Every word that is in this dictionary can be typed by the Supersafe chatter. There would be a couple of common leet-speak words such as "u," "i," "idk," "rofl," "lol," etc., but most would be proper words. The supersafe chatter must type them correctly if he wishes to speak. All of the rest of the words in this dictionary would be blocked, not allowed to be said. If the user types a word that is not in the dictionary, he would not be allowed to enter the phrase. It would outline which words he used improperly, and until he retypes them, he cannot proceed. This user can also not type numbers. ROBLOX definitely doesn't want him giving out his phone number, or his address, or anything personal. Words such as "phone" and "address" and "number" would be blocked too. Tell me what you think.

This is not spam. I wrote this message because the duplicate message system blocks my post when I type "bump..."

I think it would add unnecessary complexity to the super safe chat system. (Assuming my understanding of what you're saying is correct) I quite like it how it currently is to be honest :P Regards, ~Scarfacial

Though would that enable safe-chatters to type in stuff like numbers, or see non-safe-chatters' text? If so, then it could cause problems like kids giving away personal information, even with the limited amount of words allowed. Still a decent idea, though. I'm not giving my full support regardless, but yeah.

"Though would that enable safe-chatters to type in stuff like numbers, or see non-safe-chatters' text? If so, then it could cause problems like kids giving away personal information, even with the limited amount of words allowed." -- They can only see supersafe chat text. No regular chat. That would increase the features of a supersafe chatter too much. They can't type in numbers, but, obviously, they can type in stuff like won, to, tree, for, hive, fix, seen, ate, pine, and tin for numbers, but we can't stop that. Anyway, I think the message not to give out personal information is already largely stressed, and I don't think that you've got that much to worry about even if you give out your address/city/ag.e. Phone number and em@i1 maybe, but unless the person you're talking to lives really close to you, I don't think it's that much of a problem.
