To be a little more specific; Texas, somewhere around Dallas. Would it be hard to adapt?

This person I know is moving because her father will get a job in Dallas. The whole family has to move there with him, so it's legal.

It's easy to adapt probably, America is pretty multi-cultural, it just depends what areas you go to.

Well, This is not EU, so I don't know much of the imigration policy in US.

@TheAztec I have one tip. 1.) Whoever is immigrating to the USA should find the job in advance.

The job outlook is not too great in Texas. If the family immigrates to the USA and lives in a rural area then you'll have problems.

Yeah. My dad might become a professor at Wake Forest university. You probably haven't heard of it but it's very prestigious.

I'd try to develop to an American "TV" accent, instead of the local Texan dialect.

Ok people, to make it clear this isn't about me this is about someone else. And this family's father is just getting TRANSFERRED; he will already have a job when getting to Texas. I'm just asking if it's going to be any hard for my friend to get adapted to American high school environments after living in Mexico for 15 years. My friend has good English, she speaks fluently.
