if your using windows XP (it might not matter) then press ctrl+print screen(print screen is above insert). then go into ms paint and paste

Press the Prt Scr/Sysrq key next to F12 then open MSpaint and press Crtl+V

First put yourself in the position you want for your snapshot. Then press the key that says "prt scr/sysrq" on your keyboard (it's usually on the upper right hand side). Now go to any kind of paint program(I prefer PAINT.net) and press ctrl+v. Now you can crop out whatever you don't want and save the image to your computer.
