You wake up... there's a girl standing over you, pulling at your arm. "Get up. You're not safe here." She says. When you glance at your arm, there's no wound... but there's blood all over the place. Weird...

"It's not important right now. We first need to get out." She sniffs at the air, as if she could actually smell something important. "The territory line is that way." She points off in the distance, then says, "Can you run?" |

"I'll talk while we run." She set off in a very fast sprint, but somehow wasn't running out of breath. "They're a group of werewolves. Got it? They have their territory, which other creatures respect. Except for machinegun helicopters. They infect people and offer them a spot in their pack..." She paused as she vaulted a fallen log. |

I kept up with her for a bit, but fell behind quickly, out of breath. I had good long term stamina, but like this, nothing. "WHAT? Werewolves? No, I'm sure they were just murderer cannibals." |

"Yeah. But you're still at a point at which we can save you. I'm not. Infected gain animal attributes the longer they're infected, and you aren't displaying any. Eventually, I think werewolves can suppress their animal side in human form, because none of the werewolves I've seen have fangs, if they don't want them." She knocked on the door. "It's me, Leslie!" She said. Turning back to you, she said, "We have some vials of the cure inside... it's not instant, and it's painful. You'll need multiple doses over a while to cure yourself." |
