Here is how it will work, Roblox would make a script using HTLM5 or whatever hip coding language the mods use today - it would look up the Username and IP Address of the person who tried logging in as the account "Billybob" (that is an example). If the Billybob is Online then the script searches for its current IP Address and checks if it is the same as the person who tried logging in onto Billybob. If it is not the same then it would either A. Tell the person trying to log in a warning and give 3 attmepts or B. Not let the user log on at all. Of course once the person is offline the script would allow anyone with any random IP Address to log into the account because if you want to use another computer or a different house then you would not be able to log in. (Meaning this this script is most effective when the user is online). BUT if someone with a different IP Address logged in then it would be recorded on a log. With this simple idea Roblox could get into more detail, for example they could create a whole seperate program or a sort of Log system that allows them to search a roblox username and to view the log to see the IP Addresses that logged onto the account. Roblox could then search that IP for any other accounts with a match. Once they find it they can ban the user who stole the account. Nifty idea right? Also remember to read this well before you go and post something like "THEN NOBODY WILL BE ABLE TO LOG IN", or something that was explained in the thread already. ***(I do know there are things such as a Proxy server which gives fake IP Addresses and would make this useless but a lot of people do not have this because you will most likely need something like Windows Server to run this.)**

Its nifty, but it would be easier if you just allowed one IP adress, like, where this person is. Lets say there was a state called Wowbob, and Wowbob had a kid named Jimmybob in it. Jimmybob lived in a city which the IP Was 1333337. He registered his IP on the ROBLOX Account tab on 'My Roblox'. Now, if he's in this IP, he can log in, if not, he has some other thing, where you have to type in the new IP and the old IP. Now, you have access to your account where its harder for hackers to get in.

IP Address is per computer, not city not user account but per computer or sometimes Internet connection depending on how you have set it up. The problem with only allowing one IP address is that people could not log into their account from another computer or network. Good idea though, keep posting!!!

How about it emails the user with a confirmation link to change the allowed IP address to the one attempted to login from. You can guess where I got that idea from.

@wikked10 Like I said in the post "Don't post crap that I already stated". I said once the user is offline anybody can log in with a different IP. Next time read before you post.
