Many, many websites that have forums have an option to edit or delete your posts. I think this is an incredibly useful option, because we all make mistakes in our posts and threads, and instead of spamming up the thread by reposting what we mean we could just edit it. Also, you could delete your post in case you, for example, posted something that someone already mentioned in the thread. This would clear up spam, especially in the help forums where people could delete their threads when their question is answered. - - - There IS the problem that people could say inappropriate things then quickly edit or delete it after they think people viewed it. For edits, when you edit your post, it could be you can not remove anything but add things in. So if you wanted to edit a mistake you could write below it "edit: blah blah i made this mistake blah blah", OR you could be allowed to add "strikethrough" to parts in your posts - what was said would still be readable (is readable a word? :P) but readers would see that you don't believe in that anymore. Just some other options. For deleting posts, ROBLOX could automatically record the content of each deleted thread/post - this content could be saved for xxxxx amount of time in case ROBLOX staff need to review it. - - - If you don't support, please explain, then I can think of some solutions to any problems you may point out! >>>If I had Edit Post, I would be able to add in the solution to this first post so people would not need to read through the entire thread to see if the problem they're thinking of was mentioned! ;)

Exactly, I could mak an accidental spelling mistake and not be able to correct it. Also, post something in the wrong subject, can't delete it. Your blocked

True I feel kind of bad when I post on the wrong thread but people are usually nice xD but still this would be useful.

New reason, sometimes the post double-posts... Like in groups. I don't like that.

This is the best idea I have seen today. Support! I can't tell you, when I was a noob, I made a few posts about WIJ that I'd rather delete. -----Siggy------>The Dedicated Fourmer of ROBLOX! He don't discriminate!

@redtim In groups, your post will double-post if you click the refresh button on the page right after posting. I think the reason for that is because once you are on that page, it's somewhat the page itself that sends the post through. So, when you refresh the page, it sends the post again as it's supposed to do. ~That awkward when you said moment in your head~

+1 Support. I hate it when I double-post, it happens a lot to me on my laptop at night. (I have a slow laptop.) But now on my desktop it's fine. I feel this is a really great idea- because you could have a spelling error and instead of posting a new reply to correct it; spamming; you're just fixing the issue. Great idea, one of the few great ones I've seen all day. (:

This idea needs refining. The reason why it is not implemented is because you could say "Lolo [insert german 1940s political group here] rulez u all suk". Then, people would respond "You idiot you don't deserve to live!" Perfectly acceptable. Then, the noob deletes his post. The completely justified responder now looks like he is personally attacking the noob. Chaos ensues. -I like birds.-

Well, sure that could always happen, but then the responder can delete his post and WHEN-not if-they implement coded text, you cross out the words and then explain it. The crossing is just to help people understand.

What if the person is offline when the troll edits it? In reality, they'd have to keep backups of each post for every appeal, which would take up lots of space n' stuff. -I like birds.-
