How it works: I draw a random team for each conference, starting with conference 1 (best conference). Each team plays eachother once (11 game season) and the top 6 teams (out of 12) make the playoffs. Conferences 1-3 provide much better chances of making the playoffs rather than conferences 4-6. The winner of the conference moves up one conference, while the loser of a conference moves down 1 conference.
