So my XBOX 360 is away being repaired because of the death rings, my poor Turtle Beaches(a kind of gaming headset) are laying there useless. So i thought that since turtle beaches and other headsets are compatible with online gaming and MMORPG games, we could be able to use them! Just think, you can send voice messages and type your messages, you can chat with people through your mic or type it, you can go onto a server and actually listen to people talk. And even without a headset, you could hear their voices through your speakers. Plus, you could add a feature where you can mute and unmute certain specific players if you just don't want to hear them talk. We can still keep the typing thing, i just thought this would be a good add-on for people that have computer compatible headsets like me :) Please tell me if i missed something or if you dont think this is a good idea.
