I changed into skinny jeans, a light pink tank top with a leather jacket over it and a pair of red sneakers, then stomped from my room."...But brushing your hair is important! And-Raine! You haven't brushed your hair either! Both of you, brush your hair!"Mom fussed, handing Kate one of the brushes from her purse. I grabbed mine off my dresser and began to brush it, listening to Kate talk while mom brushed her hair.

Once I got the girls' hair brushed, I pulled them all outside. Raine and Kate sat on both sides of the pond and Jake and I sat on the other two sides."Okay, this spell with damage whatever is trying to come inside the school and teach you."I said, grinning at each. Raine lied down against a tree and fell asleep, Jake got up and walekd away, and Kate started jumping around the place and screaming with joy. I sighed and used magic to make each of them sit back in their spots and listen. They all groaned."Why'd you do that~?"They whined, slumping. |

I smiled and ignored their question, pulling out my magic book. Kate and Raine followed but Jake just raised an eyebrow."Get it out. I don't care if you don't write in it or mess with it, you will write in it today."I said, sternly and firmly to him. He frowned and pulled out the brown book. I tossed a pencil to the three and sat up straight."Okay. I want all of you to start thinking of a lightning spell. The same one we talked about in class. Repeat the spell in your mind and close your eyes to focus. Ignore any noises or movements that may happen around you. Focus on that spell, let it take over. When I say to open your eyes, open them. My words will guide you through it, you gotta listen closely."I said, watching as the three focused. Jake didn't quite get the spell and was going through a spell book. He smiled as to finding the page and read it over twice, then did the same as the other two. A moment after her got into position, something knocked Kate from her position and a chuckle filled our ears. |

There is nothing to do, I don't usually say this, but I can't wait until summer ends. I wish somthing big would happen. Or maybe a new kid, I know my brother, James is coming next symester. But, I already know him. |

The force-field that surrounded the school whacked out a bit and then shut itself off using the sound of lightning as the sky grew dark. Kate put her hands over her ears as she curled into a ball on the ground. It's like he was hurting her, trying to control her but failing and giving her pain instead. Raine and Jake ran over to her side and tried to ask her questions but she just wouldn't listen. Meanwhile, HE was coming. |

One of the students seemed to be in pain, as well as a large unexpected storm had just arrived. Erin swore and got up from the bench, he was somewhat confused, what does he do? Go to the school or to the dorms? |

I looked around.Did we alarm him? Did we open the force-field?Maybe we did let him in. I sighed and looked at Kate, who seemed to have calmed. She slowly scooted over to me and started to speak."He-he-he s-s-said that he's-he's co-coming. Right now-now."She stuttered quietly, leaning against me. I looked at her and realized how exhausted she looked. I looked at the other two, who were talking in worried voices."Take her inside the school and lay her on a bench. He's starting to drain powers."I said, worriedly looking at Kate. Most of her powers had been drained from her and that just makes her weak. Jake put an arm around her amr and helped her to her feet. Raine put an arm around her and let her lean against her as they helped her to the school. |

Thunder shot down onto the concrete and when it disappeared, there he was. He glared in my direction and pointed towards Kate."Your daughter has some nice powers. They were delicious. But not big enough. I'll be taking them three into custody. They'll be my dessert."He said, grinning. The other two of my kids seemed to be having the same problem that Kate did and a few minutes, they were gone. He looked around the place and grinned."My. What a lot of talented children here. I'll be taking their powers." He said with a flick a of his hand. The kids who had magic and stuff started to feel as if something was ripping into their heads and tearing out information, little piece by little piece. I frowned and shock fire down onto his feet."You deserve that." |

I walked outside to see a large beast and stood there, stunned. |

I felt weaker, watching as he drained power. But I still felt capable of doing something greater than just standing around and watch as all my friends grow weak. I knew I should do something. A cold chill ran down my spine as we met eyes. I whispered to myself "My parents are gone, this is all I have. I will not allow you to do this." and raised my sword.
"I may know magic, but doesn't mean I don't know other things." I had said to him. |

I sent a glare towards Enzo."Don't get involved. He's more vicious than you could ever think." I clenched my hand in a fist as fire burned inside of it. I opened my fist in a quick movement, sending poison in his direction. It entered his veins and this time it was him who felt weaker. |
