Graphics card problem

I have been having trouble with my graphics card lately, I put in the newest NVIDIA graphics card for my laptop and when i try to start up games, It says that my graphics card might be too old, what could the problem be?

Lower the screen usage and grapicks on your labtop;if that dont work then u have an old laptop...

It barely worked my laptop is a 2010 Dell Latitude E6320 with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
