Yes, that is right. This is my guide to fixing the Cowboys, I will fix everything from defense to offense and offense to fixing the homefield(people that go to home games)! I will announce who needs to be kept and who needs to go! TABLE OF CONTENTS(press ctrl+F and type in the section you wanna read to find that section) 1. Who To Keep -Offense -Defense 2. Who to release -Offense -Defense 3. Fixing the offense 4. Fixing the defense 5. Fixing the homefield(people that go to home games) PART I: WHO TO KEEP -Offense: QBs: Tony Romo-Romo is the backbone of this Cowboys team. He can be clutch, tough, and a good leader. WRs: Miles Austin, Dez Bryant, Laurant Robinson-These WRs could possibly be one of the best WRing corps in the NFL. TEs: Jason Witten, John Phillips- Witten is Romo's go to guy and Phillips is an emerging TE. RBs: DeMarco Murray, Felix Jones, Sammy Morris, Tanner Philips-DeMarco Murray is a great, young, RB, Felix Jones is perfect in the 2nd RB role, Philips is a good 3rd RB, and Morris is a good backup FBs: Tony Fiammeta (1st string) and backups: Fiammeta largely helps out Murray by being his "shield". OL: Everyone but Phil Costa-The offensive line is like a puzzle for the dallas cowboys, they have the pieces but they need to be arranged properly. -Defense: CBs: Mike Jenkins-Jenkins is a good CB but a good backup may be needed. LBs: Everyone but Keith Brooking-The LBs are good for the most part. None of them are so bad that they need to be released. Safties: Abram Elam, Silva Mana-Drafting a saftey may be in order PART 2: WHO TO RELEASE -Offense QBs: Jon Kitna, Stephen McGee-Jon Kitna is getting near the point of retiring and McGee can't move the ball to save his life. I'd suggest drafting a QB to learn under Romo and take his place for when he retires. WRs: Kevin Ogletree-Ogletree has shown he hasn't made any improvement in the time he has been here. If I was Jerry Jones, I'd draft a WR in the later rounds. RBs: None FBs: None TEs: Martellus Bennett-He hasn't been as good as Witten and Phillips, and lacks consistancy OL: Phil Costa (C): He hasn't shown consistancy with the shotgun snaps. -Defense CBs: Terrance Newman, Orlando Scandrick, Alan Ball: WRs have a field day linning up against these CBs LBs: Keith Brooking-Sean Lee has obviously taken over his job and Brooking has forgotten how to tackle. Safties: Gerald Sensabaugh-Need I say more? PART 3: FIXING THE OFFENSE First, lets start with the Offensive Line, Dallas should either pick up a center via trade of free agency OR they should draft one early 2nd round. They should flip Tyron Smith and Doug Free. After trading Ogletree for some late round draft picks, use those acquired picks to draft a WR to fill in the small hole he left. Draft a QB in the late 3rd, early 4th round to plan for the future. Draft or pick up/trade for some other offensive linemen incase changes need to be made. Finally, Laurant Robinson is set to become a FA, make sure he does not see the light of free agency by either franchise tagging him or by giving him a better contract (he deserves a big payday) These moves fix the few problems with the offensive line. PART 4: FIXING THE DEFENSE Dallas has the 14th pick in this year's draft. Use it to draft a CB-especially if Morris Claiborne is still around by then, but, in the easy chances he isn't, draft Dre Kirkpatrick (projected top 20) outta Alabama. After drafting a CB in the 1st round, draft a saftey in the 2nd round, especially if Mark Barron (Alabama) isn't around by the time the 2nd round comes. Pick only CBs and Safties/defensive with picks not used on the OL. Especially draft defensive players from the defensive-powered SEC. Also, get CBs outside of the draft-Champ Bailey and Antonio Cromartie are set to enter free agency. PART 5: FIXING THE HOMEFIELD EXPERIENCE When JerryWorld was first built, I thought Dallas had one of the BEST homefield advantages in the ENTIRE NFL. Unfortunatly, the Cowboys have been sub .500 at home over the past few years. This is because the true fans are not going to the games because of ticket price and parking price. Dallas needs to lower those prices so the true fans-the drunken BillyBobs-can go to the games. The only people that can afford to go are the guys with the expensive car and the earings as big as chandallers. They need to get it to where those people are not getting a seat because all the Billybobs are taking the seats. Dallas also needs to go back to their roots, a few games at the Cotton Bowl-their 1st stadium-would not hurt. If they drop the price so the passionate fans get in, then they will have a great homefield advantage, which will lead to more home wins. There, I just fixed the Dallas Cowboys.

This is all a load of bs. Lol. I read it through. Biggest point? " This is because the true fans are not going to the games because of ticket price and parking price. Dallas needs to lower those prices so the true fans-the drunken BillyBobs-can go to the games." Good luck with that while Mr. Big Money Jones is still alive and in charge.

I can see a couple of these making sense, but a few of these "solutions" are dumb imo.

Two of my biggest problems. RB and QB obviously. Also WR. Let me go with the lighter ripping first. Felix Jones is good, but not a good power or 3rd down back. And who the hell is that Phillips kid? WR: You seriously think Dez, Miles, and Laraunt could be the BEST WR corps in the league? LOLLLLL. (had to do it..) QB: Tony Romo? (not even going to bother) Get a good QB to back him up is all I say.

@ddude that is why he is in the 2nd back role, and you'd know who Phillips is if you watched him, he is like Witten Jr. And yes I do, Laraunt and Miles has chemistry with Romo, and Dez is a good. coming up, WR, as soon as he can learn to take time in the film room, they could start getting there. Not a Top 5, but possibly a Top 10. Also, Romo was the reason the Cowboys won 8 games. He is really only at majority fault for 2 games this season (Jets and Lions). He has only 5 INTs this season, and 4 of those came before Thanksgiving. Only 1 came in December.

Romo isn't smart with the ball...he should throw it away whenever he gets in trouble instead of taking sacks and costing the team yards. He has the talent, yes, but in what, five years of being the Cowboys QB, has only gotten them to the playoffs once or twice, and won one game. Incosistency is basically what I'm saying. I'm honestly fed up with it. I want to see some more change.

That is why I am saying draft a QB to light a fire.

Lol. Jerry won't want to. Romo is Jerry's little pet.

No. Romo doesn't suck up to Jerry. It is more the other way around.

Saying Romo is clutch? LOLNO! He threw 3 INT's in one half against Detroit, in 2006, he bobbled the snap on a NINETEEN yard field goal attempt in a playoff game, and he has only won once in the post season. -FrenchPlayHandBall, GO COLTS!-

I meant that. Worded it wrong. Still. That means Jerry won't draft a QB.

Romo is tough, he chokes, but the loss on Sunday was not his fault. It was the defensive side's fault due to the failure to recover 2 fumbles that could take at least a TD from the Giants and could've given the Cowboys 14. 31 - 7 = 24 14 + 14 = 28 28-24 would be the score.

You can't win if your QB and his offense doesn't do enough. -FrenchPlayHandBall, GO COLTS!-

Yes, but look, if the defensive side would've done their part, they would prevent scoring and get the Giants to score nothing. We scored 14, and could've had 17 without the choice of the Cowboys' 4th & 1 attempt. If the Cowboys had the offense they had in the 1st half, they would've won. Think of this also, if Romo isn't in Dallas, how can any other players catch the throws he makes? He's one tough dude. He's battled through 2 injuries THIS SEASON ALONE. He helped lead Dallas to a rally to beat the Washington Redskins and led the Redskins to a huge slump.

Romo had had only 1 INT since Thanksgiving this season.

He also pulled the game to 21-14. They were rallying. Then Dallas' Defense just completely collapsed and gave the momentumless Giants the momentum they needed to close out the game.
