I recently posted a thread, it was until all the feedback i received that made me realize how utterly stupid my idea was. I tried posting that i had changed my mind, but people still give me negative feedback. The only way to fix this would be to change the very first post. So i though, why not have an "edit" button, where you can change something about your thread? |

But there should be a seperate page where your previous versions are stored, in case you've posted something entirely inappropriate and edited it before anyone had the chance to report. |

Well, I suppose, but as an example, read my thread called BC vs. NBC, read what I initially wrote, and then look for my late posts somewhere on the second page, no one sees them, so they keep calling me a "noob" and such. |

If you change it before it is reported, nobody sees it, No harm done.

I support. However, Admins and Moderators should still be able to see a list of previous edits (Including original post) so that people cant swear then wait for some views and edit it out. |

I mean so that people see it but when people check the reports the moderators/administrators see nothing.

Nope.
If you say something that isn't good in someone's opinion, and they comment about it, you can just change that part of the thread. The people below will look stupid.
Also, you can wait till someone says something, for example, and then add in your thread "Whoever says "blahblahblah" is stupid" |
