Next riddle:
I'm a riddle in nine syllables,
An elephant, a ponderous house,
A melon strolling on two tendrils
O red fruit, Ivory, fine timber!
The loaf's big with it's yeasty rising
Money's new minted in this fat purse.
I'm a means, a stage, a cow in calf.
I've eaten a bag of green apples
Boarded the train there's no getting off.
As well as being a riddle, this is also a famous poem. |

My dad told me this riddle, and true to my mind, I struggled. But, Wipper was correct and the correct answer is pr3gn4ncy (replace '3' with e and '4' with a).
Also, OVAR, I post a riddle and you simply have to work out the answer. Once the correct answer is given, I will post a new riddle for you. When my mind is blank with riddles, I will ask one of my forumers to inbox me a riddle and I will post it on here for you to work out.
All good? Alrighty then, lets continue.
Next riddle:
What English word retains the same pronunciation, even after you take away four of its five letters?
Pretty easy one if you're English, got it in a instant. :) |
|
|
*Four of its Five Letters*
So the word must have FIVE letters, and still have same pronunciation, even after FOUR of its letters. *THINK!!!*

Yes, it is the word 'Queue'. If you take 4 of it's 5 letters off, it leaves you with the letter 'Q', if you pronounce that letter, it will sound the same as the word 'Queue', I like that riddle, one of my favorites. :)
Next Riddle:
I give you a group of three. One is sitting down, and will never get up. The second eats as much as is given to him, yet is always hungry. The third goes away and never returns. |
|
|
The second one's fire, the third one's smoke, the first one's a log. |
|
|
The first is wood the second is fire and the third is smoke
