The fight was today and Dan was getting prepared loading up on food eating pasta and loading up on carbs like a runner before a race. The theater was closed today so the dark made perfect cover for the fight, Josh was standing at the end of the alley with his little gang of misfits all of them with that tough look on their face acting like they’re not a afraid of anything. Amanda was there too not even wanting to look at me a couple of other students from school came to watch. Jenny didn’t know about the fight Dan didn’t want her to get hurt.
Dan and Josh approached each other,
“Alright Dan you know the rules no weapons and no help from anyone.”
“Got it, let’s just get this over with.”
Dan knew that Josh had something up his sleeve, it couldn’t be a gun that even in the ghetto you couldn’t let a kid buy one but something on his face gave away that he was planning something. The fight started out strong as Josh lunged for Dan but easily sidestepping him and causing him to run into a dumpster. Dan may not be as strong but he was much faster. Josh quickly got back up and managed to connect a punch to the gut and Dan staggered back put tackled Josh to the ground and connecting a series of punches to the face. Josh quickly pushed him off and got back up and punched Dan in the jaw. Dan was on the ground and blood was coming from his mouth but josh didn’t let up kicking him in the stomach but Dan grabbed his leg and tripped him onto a wall his face making a crunch, Dan got up and saw blood coming from Josh’s mouth he was staggering back and forth crossed eyes and Dan finished up by grabbing his face and smashing it into the dumpster. Josh gave him a sign of surrender, Dan was about to leave until he heard quick footsteps and turned
around.
Josh had a flare gun in his hand, they weren’t lethal from far away but from the distance Dan was standing it could easily kill him.
“Josh what the hell are you doing put down the gun before you get hurt.”
“Sorry sis but this is personal now.”
“Josh don’t do this.” As Dan slowly raised his arms.
Josh started to approach him and got a bit too close.
“Dan did you honestly think I could let you walk away.”
Josh’s eye was bleeding and as he raised up his hand to wipe the blood Dan grabbed his arm and the flare gun went off into the air and Josh quickly head-butted him and kicked him in the head while he was down. Dan was half conscious and he could hear the shouts and the sirens in the distance while everyone scattered.

Flare guns shoot a flare thats designed to give a signal to stranded people but close enough its easy enough to kill and i'm not telling you if josh wanted to kill him |

awesome. I liked the action. Still a little disappointed there were no machine guns, AK-47's, gernades or anything, but the flare gun was exciting.
