Why do you all hate Toy Story 2, Happy Feet and Puss in Boots (2011)?

I love those movies and they were well received by critics, but so many people bash them. Why?

Puss in Boots was a rip from the Sherk franchise. Just a quick money solution made from a good series of movies. Happy Feet: The plot was thin, and quite implausible toward the end. So many stereotypes and morale-of-the-story points were introduced but none of them were very satisfactorily resolved or dealt with. The thing that disappointed me the most was the complete lack of emotional involvement in any of the characters or story lines. The penguins are close-minded and brainwashed. I liked Toy Story 2, it's my favorite out of the series.

Puss in Boots is a prequel to the Shrek movies. This might shock you, but Happy Feet won a lot of Best Animated Feature awards. They should've went to Cars, not Happy Feet. IMO Cars is better than Happy Feet, even though I love Happy Feet.

I know it was a prequel, but it was still a rip of the Shrek franchise. The story line had it's faults too. As I always say, the stuff I say is my opinion. I know it did, but I don't think it's right it did. There are better animated features.

Did you like Cars? It should've won the Best Animated Feature awards, not get nominated for them! The critics who reviewed Happy Feet are a little butthurt.

Cars was a decent movie. Certainly better than Happy Feet. I didn't like the sequel though.

Here's why I included Toy Story 2 in this thread: On Rotten Tomatoes, there's a "Best Animated Films" list. Actually, two of them. I was reading the comments and I saw a lot of people arguing about Toy Story 2. I guess they were disappointed that it was at #1 with a 100% rating.
