Alright guys and girls, here it is! My original story, "The Darkness," except this time, it's put together. Enjoy!
Chapter 1
"I can't believe this," Danny groaned. "I got another C on my math test."
"It's alright," Chelsea told him. "It's not like your goin' to jail or somethin'. It's just a stupid math test."
Danny had gotten yet another C. His parents were worried, and were thinking about sending him to summer-school. But he would rather die than go there. People used to tell him stories about summer-school. They said that if you weren't good, the teacher would kill you. But, of course, he didn't believe them. But Danny did know that it was all work, and nothing else. Also, where his parents wanted to send him, you got no snacks, and you were there for 5 hours. It seemed like a jail for the dumb.
"But Chelsea. You don't understand. My parents said if I got one more C, I'd have to go to summer-school!" Danny said. "Maybe I should just use ink remover and change it to an A. Or maybe I could hide it."
"Danny, they'd find out." Chelsea replied. "They'd get all suspicious, and ask the teacher."
Danny thought the same thing. He was really worried, and the day just seemed like it kept getting worse. And then, his day was completely ruined. He ran into the school bully.
"Hey, you!" he screamed. "You're gonna get a beatin' worse then you could ever imagine! You, me, 5:00, after school!"
The bully, Ruskel, was chasing Danny around. Danny was running and screaming.
"What's next?!" Danny screamed. "I'll get hit by a car?"
Danny ran home and slammed the door so Ruskel couldn't get in. He locked the door and ran upstairs. He laid down on his bed and hid under his covers, until his dad came in and found him.
"What are you doing?" he asked. "Why are ya hidin'?"
"There's some guy chasing me!" Danny answered. "He wants to fight me, but I don't know how to fight!"
His dad went downstairs and opened the door.
"What is it?" he asked.
"Who are you?" Ruskel growled.
"I'm Danny's dad," he replied.
"I'm gonna kill your son! Tell him I said that!"
"If you try to hurt my son, then I'll call the cops on you!" Danny's dad yelled.
Danny's dad slammed the door in Ruskel's face. He stuck up the loser sign through the window.
"Danny, what was that all about?"
"I accidentely ran into him, and he started screamin' at me." Danny replied.
"If he tries to hurt you, run and call the cops."
Danny nodded his head, which told his dad that he was listening. He had no clue as to what was going to happen the next day. He just wanted to start his whole life over again...
Chapter 2
He just wanted to start his whole life over again. If he could, he would. He was going to get in so much trouble when his parents found out he got a C, and then he was going to die in a fight. He didn't know what he could do. He wanted to turn into a whole 'nother person.
"That's it!" Danny exclaimed. "I can disguise myself as a different person!"
But then he realized his plan would backfire. When he came home, his parents would find out, and he'd have to go to school as the real him, and the get criticized because he didn't show up at the fight. His only option was to fight. He wanted to learn as much as he can, so he rushed over to his local library to check out some fighting books.
"Come on, come on," he muttered. "There's gotta be somethin' in here."
He finally found a few books, and he went to the check-out zone to get his books. As soon as he got his books, he ran out the door and to his backyard to test out the fighting skills that were in the book.
"Hyah!" he yelled. "I've gotta push myself to my limit..."
He practiced until his parents finally told him to come inside and eat dinner.
"We're having cooked ham with corn," his dad said.
"Mmm, that sounds good." Danny replied.
He ate until he was full, and then he went to bed, proud of himself for training. But was it enough for the big fight? He fell asleep, dreaming about the fight and him winning. He finally woke up, nervous about the fight. He didn't know if he didn't train enough, so he woke himself up early to train some more. He trained until he was done with the book, and still had time to eat breakfast. He grabbed a bowl, poured some cereal in, and ate.
"This fight is gonna be easy," he told himself. "I gotta win."
The end of school came, and Ruskel was waiting for him.
"I'm gonna pound your face into the ground!" Ruskel warned him.
"Oh, yeah? Well I learned how to fight too!"
They started fighting. Danny headbutted Ruskel in the stomach, and Ruskel fell backwards. He quickly got up, and punched Danny. Danny's jaw started bleeding, but he didn't feel pain. Danny slammed Ruskel into a garbage can, when all of a sudden a black hole appeared behind Danny and sucked him in. Danny was transported into an alternate dimension...
Chapter 3
Danny was transported into an alternate dimension.
"Ah!" he screamed. "Somebody help me!"
He finally came out, just to see himself in a black room with something that looked like stars all around.
"Hello, Danny," a strange voice boomed. "You say your life has been getting bad? You have said you wanted to start your life over. I am here to do just that."
"Who are you?" Danny asked.
"Allow me to introduce myself," it said. "I am the protector of every existing thing."
"I haven't really been protected," Danny said under his breath.
"But I am here to protect you."
Danny was lead into a room.
"What am I going to do?" Danny asked.
"You will stay here forever until you have learned your lesson. I like to call this place, The Void Of Darkness," the protector said.
It disappeared, and Danny saw some of his favorite things. He was thinking, "This is going to be awesome!" But he knew in his heart that it wouldn't. At least he could play his favorite game with his friend Chelsea.
"Cool!" he exclaimed. "Chelsea is online. I'm gonna talk to her."
He logged onto his character and started to party with her. But Danny realized, he didn't exist in the real world, so no one knew him. She declined, because she had no clue who Danny was. Danny remembered Chelsea, but Chelsea didn't know Danny anymore...
Chapter 4
Danny remembered Chelsea, but Chelsea didn't know Danny anymore. He couldn't talk to her anymore unless he found her on a game. But she would probably call him a stalker.
"Oh well," Danny sighed. "There's a lot more other people that I can be friends with."
He joined one of his favorite games, and started to talk to other people. But he got no answer. Every game he went onto,it seemed like no one was there. But to them, Danny wasn't there. To them, he wasn't even a character. It's like the game edited Danny out of it. But technically, Danny's character didn't even exist, because Danny wasn't there to create it. Everything Danny had done was gone. Everyone who knew him forgot about him.
"At least I can play the games," Danny said.
He went onto a tycoon game, and went over to a tycoon space that was empty. It told him that he had claimed it, but none of the buttons worked, because the game didn't recognize his character. To the computer, his account was fake.
"I can't believe this!" Danny cried out. "Why did this have to happen to me?"
"Well, it seems like you passed the test," the protector said. You have learned your lesson."
Immediately, Danny was transported to the real world. He was at his house, laying down in his bed.
"What happened?" Danny said.
He didn't remember anything that had happened that day. He went downstairs, and he got on his computer. Chelsea was still online, so he invited her to a party again. This time she accepted, and Danny's life went back to normal.
Thanks for reading! This is the complete story, "The Darkness™." That TM means no stealing my story. But, I don't think anyone would. Anyways, I'm going to do a segment after every story that will be about me talking about my story. |
