It would be great but, think of all the work the admins put into the updates. Anyway, you can't stop any of theses things. Pheraps make another ROBLOX testsite for the old stuff? |

I support.
However; ROBLOX has made many claims before: "ROBLOX does not undo an update after it is released. Once released, the only further action we take is patches and other items of relevance."
I used to have an old account from November 2006 - Summer of '08. And back then, things were fun: they had creativity.
Todays ROBLOX attempting to be graphically ahead when the game is nothing but l3g0 styled creation is rather sad. So is the factor that they're trying to hog as much money as possible.
I do support, but its highly unlikely they'll do much. |

There are several things why ROBLOX should be a little bit backupdating.
E.g: Connection (like in every game) |

You remember the Roblox Museum and the Billboard Contest?
I still remember the 2007 News update on when they were featured on Devmaster. Things such as the classic Happy Home in Robloxia.
One thing many people don't remember though was in 2005, the games such as Bridge It!, Beat the Lions, Dangerous Driver, Contain It!... the point holder leaderboard that was always off to the side of the page.
Point being: I miss the old days. Back when things were simple and fun. |

The games I most remember are the games from miked. I can also remember the paintball tournament and the minigame world. Of course I know the two games you just said. (which 07 doesn't?)
I totally agree with you. Problem is, it would go a little bit boring as time goes by. That's why everyone needs to update their stuff. And also because of issues.
I also remember the very first egg-hunt in 08 (the best one ever, I got all the eggs with my 3rd account MassaIII). The other egg-hunts were just lame.
I have no clue about the games from 05 because I started in 07.
Also I know the starting of tycoons and hide and seek.

Best egg hunt I ever had was in 2008, I can agree with you on that. And the paintball tournament-... Wasn't Super Mario Strikers the winner? I can't quite remember anymore xD
Anyways, honestly: all I deeply hate right now is the new ROBLOX graphics. Back in 2006 - 2007 it was a bit easier on the eyes '-'
Not really sure what I dislike specifically about the graphical updates: just that they're not very appeasing.

I don't really know the winner of the tournament.
You know you can change quite a lot on your graphics of ROBLOX. My graphics are quite close to the old 07 graphics. |

I, too, have changed most of my settings to get as close as possible to the original graphics.
But close doesn't quite cut it for me: nothing can beat the simplistic, yet beautiful style, of the old graphics. |

Arms couldn't move, legs couldn't move: and there was the tendency that you'd start glitching and you didn't even touch the ground, you just started floating.
The lack of user customization isn't as bad as many think it would've been for people who were there to experience it. Back then it was a lot simpler to customize your character. Those were the days :P

I used to play Build as a Pilgrim quite often.
Do any of you still remember Silenced's (SilentSwords) game Island Survival? I used to play that game almost 24/7.
Until of course people stopped playing and updates broke it, etc.; but thats beyond my point ._. |

No old studs. I plan to build a group called "New Robloxia", it will just be like a community with the current building options, Classic Robloxians (yay), and creativity at most!
Old studs were the problem, otherwise no studs = old roblox would of stayed.

well the admins would have to change it all back... and people like me like roblox the way it is. maybe they cold make a button in the settings that lets you change it up like this:

>cartoonish
force feild:
>bubble
outline
badge sound
none
>trumpets
and more. |
