Hey, everybody. I'm back, with yet another genious idea. (Lol.) The Hunger Games. Fantastic, right? So heres what I propose. The actual Games lasts about 48 minutes. I can't make it any longer, because it's going to be WAAAY too long. It might be too long right now, actually, but listen ; If I give the round about 5 minutes, no one will have time to explore! It's going to be a simple bloodbath. 48 Minutes : 24 Minutes for one "day" Two days. Simple as that. You have about enough time to find a weapon, spread out, form an alliance, etc. You can make "whisper" messages to a single person or group of people by GUI. Alright, so here's my proposal. 20 people (per server) 15 players are randomly selected to play in the arena. 5 become gamemakers, or rather more of a gamemaker for two districts, randomly placing strategic obstacles for players. One flaw ; "Gamemakers" can make thousands of obstacles to not let the opposing teams pass. Now, there are going to be 15 Districts, and 1 tribute for each District. Each "Gamemaker" will be assigned to 3 Districts, to kill them. Ex : Gamemaker 4 is designing obstacles for districts 6 & 1. Gamemaker 4 ( named Bob )'s objective is to make sure that the players from Districts 6 & 1 die. He can set up obstacles for only those two districts. If any other players pass, the obstacles don't activate. Alright, now moving on to when players die. If one dies,(named Alex) he becomes a game maker. After one dies, we can therefore conclude that a previous game maker ( Joe ) has been successful in killing a district's player. Joe gets "the rest of the day off". By this, I mean he becomes a mutt and tries to kill any left over players, if the original game makers didnt kill them yet. Alex has to take over Joe's assigned district(s) When Alex has killed someone, Alex becomes a mutt. The killed player, ( Daniel ) becomes a Gamemaker, and so on. One more problem ; What about players that join after the games begin? He becomes a mutt. If anyone in the Arena dies, that's it. No one can rejoin to enter the arena. When inside the arena, you can be given the choice to stay in the Arena, tap out ( switch with someone else ), or become a mutt. How do the mutts work? A specific number of players have to die for the mutts to begin hunting. How many players? Lets say, 10 out of 15 players have to die for the mutts to begin hunting. What do the dead players do until then? They serve as mentors, giving tips to a selected player (at the "mutt"'s choice of who to mentor, meaning the mutts can choose who to mentor) There. I'm done. Any ideas, questions, etc.? Graci.

Oh, I forgot to add the details for the Tracker Jackers & Poison Berries. I haven't totally worked those out yet. But otherwise, I'll be adding "feasts" for the players at certain intervals, with maybe a total of 5 or 6 feasts during 1 game.

I'd love to, that is, if I can get a PM from him. I doubt I'll be getting any attention from him, so, I guess I'm going to have to go solo on this one.

How about servers of 30? Because seriously, NOBODY wants to wait in a lobby for that long.

I get your point, but ; 1. I'm non-BC. 2. I already said anyone who joins will be ACTIVELY doing something, so no one will be bored.

Did you copy this form crazy?

No, lol. Believe me, I had an idea for this for a while. Even before the movie came out, I begun a similar game like this, called Lost. It was supposed to be a mixture of the Hunger Games & Roblox's After The Flash. When I saw the HG movie, I was able to have better resources for detail, therefore putting better chances of me making the game. When crazy made his forum post, I just knew that I had to make it before he did, because it was an original idea from me. I had no way of proving it, though, and crazy's version will probably get popular over mine. Eh. Even on his thread, I replied something extremely similar to this, and basically just respoke it onto a thread. Lol.

Try to make it BEFORE crazy is done, so it can be more popular than his!

I don't get it, everyone who has made or is making a Hunger Games game is basing it only on the arena itself. I personally find that a little lame, which is why in a few weeks, I'm going to start my own game based on the *entire* book.

Well, you obviously don't understand. The arena is basically the climax of the whole book, and how in the world are you going to make the reaping, the woods, the train ride, the opening ceremonies, chariot rides, hovercraft, tube into the arena, arena, and all of that nonsense? Lag. Focus on the important, fun part. The arena.

> The arena is basically the climax of the whole book Not true. Climaxes are the main point, the most intense part of a story. The arena part took over half the book, and therefore is not the climax. It CONTAINS the climax, but it isn't itself. > how in the world are you going to make the reaping, the woods, the train ride, the opening ceremonies, chariot rides, hovercraft, tube into the arena, arena The way I would make any other game. I'd program it. I can't build for my life, so I'm already recruiting friends of mine who are great builders. I'm an experienced programmer - I've been programming for almost 6 years and I know over 12 programming languages. > Lag. That's what efficiency is for. If my friends don't build efficiently, I'll make it efficient myself. > Focus on the important, fun part. The arena. That's what I *am* doing. Only I'm including the events leading it up to it, also. I'm saying that everyone who has made a Hunger Games game has only *based* them on The Hunger Games. They haven't actually made everything go exactly like in the book. Plus, mine will be single-player.

@Electric, you have a good point there. 1. I'm just saying, I doubt people would want to have to drag through the whole plot. Most ROBLOXians are impatient, & just want to have a weapon in their hands & "noobz" to kill. 2. How are you going to make it Single Player? Are you going to make it solo play only? If yes, that would be no fun. People would want to interact with other people, and AI tributes would be either too nooby, or too good. If you're going to make it max limit 6, and make 6 total maps for every player, that would be extremely laggy, jussayin. 3. If my idea fails, would you want to partner up and >attempt< to recreate it together? Well, along with your friends that are helping to build. @Mine Guy ; I can just freeze the players in their spots for 60 seconds, no biggie. @goglet ; You obviously didn't understand my point. Every player will be participating, whether being a tribute, mutt, or gamemaker.

If you're going to make it max limit 6, and make 6 total maps for every player, that would be extremely laggy, jussayin. Ah, yes, I haven't particularly worked that out yet. I'm still deciding whether I'll implement Local Parts, or simply make clones of each scene for each player. There will be more than one player allowed in each server, but the only interacting as of yet would be chatting. I *may* make some sort of multiplayer mode, though. I honestly doubt it because this game will take forever already. >If my idea fails, would you want to partner up and >attempt< to recreate it together? Well, along with your friends that are helping to build. Sure, sounds great. Also, something I haven't mentioned in this thread: I'm planning to make the game a bit more funny by changing every character's gender and changing their name a bit too. So: Dogniss is a 16 year old boy from District 12 in the country of Panem. His mother, a hunter and miner, passed away in a mine explosion 5 years ago. His younger brother Crim and his Father live with him in the Seam, the rundown section of the district. Him and his hunter friend Sael sneak out in to the woods to hunt for food. At the 74th Hunger Games's reaping, Critt is called, and Dogniss volunteers. The girl tribute is a baker's daughter named Geeta. Their mentor is a 40 year old drunk woman named Trayntich. Their Escort is a young man from the Capital named Yeffie Minkret. Dogniss's mentor is a nice, empathetic, and compassionate woman named Binna. Skipping ahead, they finally start the games, and the tributes from District 1 are Harvel and Shlimmer, District 2 are Gato and Zove, the District 5 boy is Wolf-face, the District 11 tributes are Nue and Phesh, and obviously you know the District 12 characters. The game goes on as in the book. The only other character I feel I need to mention in this post is President Ice, the cruel, cold-blooded, heartless she-witch who rules over Panem.

Dude...AWESOME IDEA! And ElectricBlaze, your idea is epik (Yes, with a k), but how long do you think that would take to script :O A few months i think... Hey, so anyways, I'm a pretty good scripter, and if you want me to help you script some things, I can! For Electric, I know you said you're a pro scripter, but if you need me to speed things up, we can be working on 2 scripts at once, so I can help with that!

@Electric, >Dogniss's mentor is a nice, empathetic, and compassionate woman named Binna. I hope you mean Dogniss's stylist / costume designer. And no offence, but I don't really like the idea of switching the gender & names. No offense, but it sounds pretty stupid . Lol. Sorry, you can continue if you'd like, but I don't think I would really play it much. Don't get un-motivated. ( Sorry, the word was on the tip of my tounge, but I couldn't figure it out. Let's see. Ah. Don't give up. Other players might like it, it just might not appeal to a certain audience. WAIT. I FOUND IT. Don't get discouraged. Olol. x3 But yea, have fun with that, it sounds funny, but I don't think it would appeal to me. @bagwan12345 - I would love to get your help, since I'm a base 1 scripter. I mean, the only script I know is : game.Workspace.TheEpicGuitarist.Head:Remove() And I'm not even sure if it would work. xD But bag, add me, and we can start working up a schedule for it. @Vannila - What does "Mmmhmmm" mean? "Mmmhmmm" as in sounds good? Or "Mmmhmmm" as in sounds stupid? Lolololol.

@theepicguitarist - > I hope you mean Dogniss's stylist / costume designer. Right, sorry, that was a mistake. Also, besides the characters' names and genders, there won't be anything different about them. It's the same old story, so there really is no reason for anyone to be appealed or not appealed by it.

1. Lol, alright. 2. I don't know, it just feels like you're making a mock out of the original story. :3 But it's up to you, do what you gotta do. Lol.
