I'm not even at 10,000 parts and everytime I paste something ROBLOX crashes. How on Earth am I ment to make something detailed?

A >detailed< game. That's what I'm TRYING to build. They said the game can easily handle 16 million parts but the program can't seem to handle around 6,000

You need to listen again to the video. The Terrian Genator genrates thousands of bricks, nearing to 16 million,but not actually 16 million as of yet (I don't think so atleadt) not actual bricks.

Well, some time ago they tried to update Roblox to Ogre 3.0. If they'd have succeed, then you'd be able to add 16 Million actual parts to your game. But john fired the guy, who should have updated Roblox.

What they said: You can add 16 MILLION parts! What they did: You can add a freaking crappy (if only I could curse, I would) terrain that is undetailed, ugly, and contains 16 million cells full of fun filled crap! What they should have done: Updated the physics engine so that it could handle the original figure of 16M, and updated the rendering engine so it could handle it too (Google: occlusion culling, which I am 90% sure they STILL haven't added). So yea. In a nutshell: it has been ~9 months (Roblox Rally 2011, August 1st) since they announced terrain, and I am STILL mad about it.
