Let me get the ball-rolling with my first character,
Sergeant Toby Coznov, 28
Faction= Red-Star
Toby Coznov was sent with the Spetsnaz taskforce to Haymana to stop the rebels there, he lead the first battalion off and was known for being ruthless to any deserters or prisoners of War. After the Spetsnaz cournal was killed Toby decided to take over the survivors of the Task force and lead them to create the Red-Star, he is the leader of the Red-Star and is bent on turning Haymana into his own little Motherland,

Akdemir Ratkhali, 23
Faction= Remnant
Akdemir Ratkhali was always a rebel. He hated any kind of power above him, including his parents who could have been murdered by him as the rumor goes. He was partly responsible for the explosion in Haymana and he admits it proudly. After the destruction of Humanity, Akdemir took to the underground tunnel system and built up a civilization of insurgent survivors. They are now known as the Remnant. As another story goes, there was a leader before him but he was hung from a wind turbine and choked to death. He is wild and unpredictable, unable to be broken by any man or machine that the world has to throw at him. |

Born into a middle-class Scottish family who immigrated to Russia during the threat of nuclear war that preceded the apocalypse, the Coles struggled to make ends meet. Gregory enjoyed playing with scrap from his father's profession as an electrician, and showed an aptitude for making basic machines. His curiosity grew into a hobby, and then a dream which carried him to university for three degrees in engineering, nanotech and electrical engineering. He then tried working for various corporations, but eventually settled in the Russian military as a demolitions engineer, building bigger and better bombs. His schizophrenia developed there making him paranoid but
extending his work hours in his underground lab. He was there during the duration of the apocalypse, unknowingly surviving and emerging to find the world a very different place. He took to creating robotic companions for defense, and slowly gave them more advanced sentience, making them his only true friends. He is barely aware of the multi-faction war begin waged among the other survivors, only communication with roaming patrols to barter supplies for arms or other technology. He has taken to drinking away his feelings, making a long, or some would argue even a sane conversation nearly impossible. The fact remains that he is a technological genius and his weapons can be a game-changer for the sides... when they don't explode. |

Only 16 had just got her drivers lisence. Just when she heard all of the bustle about nukes on the news. She didn't think much of it so she went of with her daily life. Then, it happened. One of the nukes hit her home town, luckly she was out of country. In Germany for a student "ambassador" trip. When she got back to her home town, there was nothing. But a vast area of dust, rocks, and old ruins. She found other people, Union members, and joined them. Now, still only young she has to fight her way through this. Will she ever live a normal life? |

Personality/Reputation: Cunning and Talkative Killer

Story: Originally involved in the central government of Haymana, Warren Carter was an American immigrant searching for his place in the world, never quite settling down in one place for a long amount of time. He had tried all kinds of jobs ranging from Mercenary to Senator, to Waiter to Police Officer, and more, but nothing quite fit. After only a few months in Haymana, Warren once again gave up on his government job, packing up when suddenly, as he was leaving to the airport, he was wrongly arrested and beaten brutally until he was unconscious by a group of Turkish Riot-Control Officers meaning to stop the oncoming crowds of rebels and insurgents trying to kill an official passing through Customs. He was dragged to jail and thrown in a confinement cell, lieing there for several days until he was rescued by insurgent forces and nursed back to health. From then on, Warren remained severely loyal to the insurgents, even after the apocalypse. |

[Remnant Fighting Tactics Under Current Rule]
The soldiers are beaten daily and taught to show no fear or remorse. A common capture tactic is to rig together a chain with spikes and barbed wire and to ride by on their bikes and throw the chain at a person's legs. This causes severe wounds and immobilizes the poor sucker allowing for easy pick-up and enslavement. |
