Any person that supports this is an idiot because
1.Since little kids actually play this, they scream into other people's ears if they have a mic, causing people to ragequit and sue roblox.
2.Oversuggested, like my last post.
3.It would be VERY VERY hard to filter, because the servers can't recognize the word, so it needs to have advanced PROGRAMMING. |

ROBLOX would get sued if this feature happened..? Why? Because this is suppose to be a safe-fun kids website.. swearing not allowed. What happens when a kid gets a mic and starts swearing and a parents hears it? They go to court, and most likely gets sued.

That doesn't fix the problem, you can enter and hear it. You can unmute somebody, and he could be doing it. The fact is, it's still quite possible.
"It'll be 13+"
Yeah sure, you can lie about your age.. which majority of the kids do.
"BC Only"
Still the same issue, ROBLOX is not going to allow it for BC.. because $5 ~= $10,000 if sued.
"Banned for life"
Banning BC players for life will greatly reduce money for ROBLOX.. thus killing it slowly.
The fact of the matter is that ROBLOX would most likely suffer from it more than it would gain. There's still the possability of being sued for it. Which ROBLOX won't take the chance of.. and besides people can be quite annoying.

Use a chatting application if you want to talk to a friend. That's what I do and IF ROBLOX even implements this, the quality would just be plain terrible. |
