Yup. Another one of my good but random ideas. My imagination is way too big...
You are a normal teenager. Your whole life has been normality. Boring, eh? Well today, you will run into a surprise. You are at school when you discover that you have powers; you can control Fire, Water, Wind, or Earth and do some other special things besides that (You have an affinity, so you have one element you specialize in, and you can use the others weakly). Your abilities are also much more powerful when channeled through something. You are quick to discover that others have this ability too. What will you do? Form gangs and terrorize the city, or use the powers for good? The choice is yours.
Elements have sub-elements too. Ex: Water -> Ice or Fire -> Thunder.

Oh, and for example, if you're in a gang, you could have a nickname that the gang members call you.
Name: Striker.

Element: Fire, but only uses Lightning.
Apperance: Tall. Muscular. Brown eyes. Hollister clothing.
Bio: A boy who changed from hitting balls with his bat, to hitting heads with a supercharged, almost nuclear powered bat.
