It is a rip-off of LEGO. You claim at the bottom of every roblox page it says "ROBLOX is not sponsored, authorized or endorsed by any producer of plastic building bricks, including The LEGO Group, MEGA Brands, and K'Nex, and no resemblance to the products of these companies is intended." KRE-O SHOULD BE ONE OF THEM.

I do not think that ROBLOX gets these ads, However Google puts ads from other places on to ROBLOX, because Google also supports ROBLOX.

One place and one hat hardly means that ROBLOX is being subsituted for KRE-O. Plus, the only reason that sentence exists is so that they don't get sued by K'Nex or MEGA.
