I practice a few sword maneuvers, running through several drills as well. I got bored eventually and thought of how I would have to do this. |

I had been watching Trevor doing some sword fighting drills for what seemed like ten minutes.
"Come on, let me come with you," I say, emerging from the woods. |

"No. You have a family now, and your also leading a team." I said, sitting down. I scratched my neck "Besides, this is one thing I have to do on my own." |

"So, I learn that I have a sister that I've only really known for two days, and I barely warm up to my dad, and that suddenly means I have a family?" I ask, sitting next to him.
"Think about it though; we're both earth shakers. That's a huge advantage. If we made like, some giant earthquake or sinkhole or whatever, nothing would harm us. Plus, we both have the curse." |

"I'm not sure if it worked, I feel weaker than before to tell you the truth. I might just have gotten lucky and survived." I said, still feeling kind of sick. "Besides. My dad never invited me, nor told me how to get to his palace. I have no brothers or sisters, I'm by myself. You got Riley, and even though you just gotten to know Callie, you've been pretty close since you met, or remet." I said, looking at him. |

I took the time to think about what he had said; it kind of made sense, but I still didn't like the idea of him going in the portal alone.
I finally settle on the best thing my brain can think of; "Hades' palace sucks."
The earth rumbled under us, but I simply rolled my eyes. |

"Atleast you've been there." I said, brushing my hair off to the side.

"Yeah, to get chewed up by my dad," I mumble, "and both times, too."
"But I'm still coming." |

"No. Don't, unless you want one of us to die with me hating you. My dad couldn't care less about me, and I want to be known not as son of Poseidon, but as me." I said, my voice starting to grow a little angrier. |

"That's some deep shi-..." I say, feeling sympothetic for a minute or two.
"I'm still going." |

I get up and grabbed the armor from my cabin. I put it on, it gleamed liked it was polished every minute. It was the nicest armor I've ever seen. I grabbed the sword and marched past Aiden, ranting saying "If you want me to go, I'll go!" I stormed towards the portal, if he went to get his armor, it'd be too late. If he didn't grab his armor he would be stupid. I waited infront of the portal, blocking it. |

I watch the two fight. They hadn't noticed me, "You two are idiots." I mumble, "You guys might as well go. Aiden you don't care about me. Fine. But just think of Riley." I say sternly to Aiden. I walk off to go tell Riley the bad news. |

''...'' I sit down on the grass waiting to go into the portal I see a guy stand in front of it. |

I quickly shadow travel to the cabin and quickly equiped my armour. It was the dark color of obsidian, and gave off a soft gleam now and then under bright light. Whenever I wore it, I felt like I had an aura of power surrounding me.
I appeared infront of Trevor shortly after, my helmet in hands and my scythe on my back.
He looked p*ssed off.
"You do realize I'm only doing this for your own good, right?" |

I get up and walk over to them.''Hey there Hades kid, you planning on going into the portal?'' |

Trevor
"Well you kno-" I stopped. I spit out some blood, it hitting Aiden's chest plate. I looked down and seen a spike pierced through my chest. I looked up, confused. I felt tentacles wrapping around my legs and the spike coming out. I was dragged towards the portal. I screamed and grabbed at stuff, but was dragged into the portal. I grabbed a root in the ground, already halfway through the portal. I mouthed the words "Help me..." Before being dragged into the portal.

I stare at Callie as she walks off. I've known her for two days, max, and I already felt like she had been my sister for life. A pit of guilt slowly rose in my stomach. I couldn't help but shake the feeling I wasn't doing the right thing. I wanted to stay with Callie and Riley, but I mean, I didn't want to see Trevor die because of my selfishness.
I look up and see the Ares boy from the other day.
"Aiden," I say, and then nod. |

I stare dumbstruck as Trevor is taken into the portal. I think about running in, but then stop in my track, thinking about how much of a help I'd been if that same thing happend to me.
I stepped back, my eyes misty with tears, and do the only thing that made sense in that sort of situation.
I called for my baby sister.
"Callie!" |

I watched the Ares boy disappear into the portal and stare, dubstruck.
I then turn and sprint for the Hades cabin. |

I turn around. Trevor was gone. I curse in Greek and run back, "What happened?!?" |

I walk around, the climate felt cold, it sent a chill down my spine just thinking about it. |
