Hm, when you insert a teleporter, click on your workspace, find the teleporter, click the + sign, then you should see alot of stuff like "PlaceID" and all that. Then, click the place ID, things should appear on your properties, then change the value to the place where you want it to take you to.
Erm, if that's not your problem, you're probably using a broken teleporter, use the one that is on "Game stuff" when you open toolbox.
