Expansion on this plot, if even anyone is interested in doing this kind of ropleplay. Near the end of the middle ages there was a war, or more specifically The Sunset War. The Sunset War was a war of Wizards and Royalty. The royal family started killing all the wizards when one of them didn't do what they said. The wizards started to fight back and so began The Sunset War. The war has so far lasted a year and many people have been slain. From the wizards side and the royal's side. Will you be royal or a wizard? Wrote this when I first started roleplaying, and yea, wanna repost it, but have a better story.

Please tell me if this is a bad idea, and I also have a pirate pad if anyone wants that.

I like this idea. A lot, actually. I love a good medieval roleplay with magic, swords, etc. in it. I haven't written a story or started a rp myself, but to me this looks good.

I would, but I haven't used that before. Willing to try yes, but I'll need to figure all that stuff out.

I'd like an explanation of how the royalty can kill wizards since the royalty only has medieval weapons and wizards can just blow them up with fireballs and stuff. ~Arikai67/robloxunit1

Most wizards aren't trained in elements like fire, lightning, etc. and the royalty has the element of suprise. There's also the fact that there are only around, 30 wizards, versus the around 30,000 forces of the royal army.

I think the amount of wizards should be increased to around 7,500 but not all highly trained.

I guess, apprentices who only know part of an element could be included.

I would think that the royalty wouldn't just kill the wizards themselves, since, the stereotypical nobleman/woman is very self-absorbed and doesn't know the meaning of work. I would think that there is a special group created to defeat the wizards, a group comprised of soldiers that are trained in repelling against magics and anything else a wizard can throw towards him/her.

That's a great idea. What we have so far- It's the year 1564, the fields in the small region of Biertra have been plowed, and the land seems peaceful. Not everything is as good as it seems though, deep in the capital, Harken, there are uprisings beginning to happen amongst the wizard ranks, and no matter how hard they try, the royals cannot stop them. The cause of the uprisings is no one else, but the new recruits, who think the older wizards should rise up, and rule the region as their own. Not only that, but a few of the older, higher ranking wizards are agreeing with the new recruits. They may not be as powerful as the others, as they have only begun their training, but they do have some power in the Council of Elders. The Council, the only way the wizards ever could have some voice. Most of the time though, talking in council worked against them, causing punishment for harsh words towards royalty, and other fake crimes. To add: - The hired assassins or specially trained soldiers - More about the council - The beginning of the war - Any other ideas that people, and myself have

Also, that group of soldiers can be a religious order of sorts in the land, they can accuse the wizards of committing heresy/treason to further the populations hate towards them. They can be like templars.. :u

Sure, that works. They could probably have some plot to take over the empire and resurrect some crazy demon thing. I dunno.

xD, so a secret organization who wants to take over the royalty and the wizards. Yet, hides the fact that they're planning to overthrow the royals from the royals.

Problem: they need a different reason. If they killed all of one class because one refused to do something, the kingdom would probably consist of about 100 people.

That problem has been adressed in a way, the war will/has been started by apprentice wizards, who aren't used to being pushed around by the royalty.

So a bunch of new wizards refusing to be told what to do? That sounds more plausible. Will the characters we make be wizards?
