@Alex,
After taking espanol I, I can tell this would be a command in a way, but vivir isn't an -ar verb, but and -ir verb, so the title should be "Vive la Resistencia". So it a direct translation (not the one that makes sense) is "You (formal) live the resistance!" I didn't know what resistance was in Spanish, so I used a translator. Also title fix.
One last thing, worst S&I suggestion ever. |

He was trying to base it off of the song "Viva la Vida" by Coldplay, which means "Live the life"
So "viva" most likely being the verb, would probably be in its "they" form.
(-ar verbs have endings of -o, -as, -a, -amos, and -an.)
Therefore, the title would translate to "they live the life"
Of course that leaves the awkward ending wondering which life it is. |

You forgot Spain's, with the you all form, ais. Vivir - to live. I took Spanish and this is was one of the verbs and we had a couple songs that we had to listen to (to practice picking up words) that had one title being Vivir, another one that kept on saying Vive, vive, el verano!, etc. Then I'll go onto Spanish II, and maybe III-V. And I don't see why we are debating about this either... (Also I don't care for many popular bands, including One Direction, Coldplay [sadly got to play a song for it it marching band], and others).

I had left the "-ais" form out because it is only used in a very minuscule portion of the nation.
The majority of the language leaves it out.
Since its spelled "viva" with an "a" at the end, the only valid conclusion would be that it is the "they" form of "vivar."
Or we could both be wrong and it could be an irregular verb.

No, we play "Real American" while we send every trooper we have and go in debt.
Then we head back to Texas because Texas is awsome and have a BBQ with Hulk Hogan, Stewart Little, Sandy Cheeks, A office chair, and Abraham Lincoln while killing vampires.
Then we do it again!
