Well you can test a very... glitch non-scary demo now... it's my Current Project as always.
Fire, you too... it ain't scary right now due to a glitch flashlight, no flashlight battery, and no sounds or jumpscares... just a monster that teleports when you blink once you hit the first fork in the road.
WARNING: He can go through walls. Do NOT underestimate this. you will be walking along thinking you lost him and BOOOOOM! He comes out of a wall not only scarying the crap outa ya, but this can lead to temporary spawnkilling by him if he makes his way to your spawn.
This spawnkilling will be fixed.
Actually, on second thought Fire, once you can't see his face anymore, just relax in a corner and he'll never find ya. :)
But seriously... check it out. :P |

I have an idea...
In order to avoid spawnkilling how about you make a script that makes you spawn in a random area. That way you can't be spawnkilled unless you happen to spawn right where he is... but what are the odds that would happen?
Also, how will this game work with multiple people in it? Will multiple monsters spawn or will it focus on the nearest player? |

1.) The glitch idea is awesome, every horror game should use it...
2.) The monster didn't actually teleport when I blinked.
3.) HOW DID YOU EVEN MANAGE TO MAKE ALL OF THIS!?!?

This is important to know...
Lol, Mako, the scripting you SAW was nothing...
There is a single script, the OrganizeScript that when a Player enters, it assigns you a PlayerNumber, a NumberValue, inside your Player based on your team color for future reference.
That was also the EASY part.
Also in that OrganizeScript, it finds when a new child has been added to the Workspace. If this child is a character, it will take your character and put it into one of 6 models: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. It puts you into the model that you PlayerNumber matches and takes your name and copies it into another value in this model. It then takes all of the things inside you (except for your humanoid), destroys them, and replaces it this premade character I made (the thing on the thumbnail). This premade character has a flashlight attached to it which is how pulled of a non-tool flashlight.
It does all of this in ONE ingame tick (1/30th of a second)
Now, you click play on your Gui and it gives you 3 other Guis: EffectsGui, FlashlightGui, and BlinkGui. It also locks FP.
The EffectsGui has all sound effects stored in it, all visual effects (you'll have fun with these later. >:D) and all darkness effects.
NOW, you are officially in your OWN game. Yes, there are 6 replicas of the same game...
You walk forward and you've hit the first fork in the road.
What you DIDN'T know, is that you actually hit an invisible trigger that enables the teleport script in the Monster.
How it knows you are blinking is [ Confidential ] due to Capone maybe taking my idea. :)
Now that you know all this, I must kill you!!! (Jk) :O
For those who say TL;DR, I say you just missed out on a LOT.
Ok, so no school today (Hehe global warming did it) so I can get some stuff done. :D
By the way, there is a cheat in my game... if you go "WASDSW" pretty fast, you will disable the monster's kill script. |

Ugh...
Me and samiret123 were testing out Walls, and 3 Guests came...
Long story short, I lagged out and I had only gained 1 Tix.
Do Guests not give you Tix anymore, or were these Guests created by my WallMonster?
He also managed to hold my blink down for 5 seconds before teleporting into my face, making me jump before I lagged out. o_O |

By the way, Mako, you just have to keep practicing to learn scripting...
The way I practice is set up little projects that are a little over my scripting level and try my hardest to complete it. :) |

I know... but I'm more of a builder than a scripter.
I CAN build, I just often don't do it. If I did, I would definately have some impressive places. Well, places with good structure and terrible scripting. |
