Bah, it's optional and like the V2 bodies it is likely going to have an object that you can remove to change back to the original block bodies. That is, if you really don't want them in your place.
Terrain's optional too! The difference is, terrain can actually be useful in some cases along with the water which is alot better than any sort of realistic water made before. Of course you don't drown or feel any effects within the water, but I think Roblox left that part for us scripters to customize :) |

I bet in the future, they're gonna delete the old bodys and make us have to wear the V3... If that happens, I'm gonna spam so bad, the catalog's stuff will have spam mostly 500 pages.

@Alpha: If it comes to that, I'll immediately start working on some sort of script to remove meshes from body parts of a player.

Mr.Xiao, you are absolutely CORRECT! The new body looks too much like Lego..err.. i mean...ALOT LIKE LEGO. Same hands, same shape, same legs. Besides, ROBOX doesnt not need anymore ROBLOXian packages. ROBLOX is doing a bad idea to make this so called, V3 Body. I bet by 2017, there will be ROBLOXian 49.0. ROBLOX makes way too many packages, i mean, some are pretty cool, but i dont like this new package body idea. I didnt expect Xiao to make a forum RIGHT IN JUNE 2012! I thought he didnt really do that. But hey, xiao, you should list more great suggestions. This idea made me go to the blog. |

I don't really think that's so much of an issue. ODing not so much of an issue of avatars as an issue of personalities. If you want to make your gender clear on Roblox, you already can, and you have been able to for far longer than any bodies existed.
I consider the bodies kind of ugly, mostly because they don't really fit the blocky theme of Roblox. They're also really gendered, which I don't support, mostly because gender tends to separate children.
It wouldn't be terrible if they were put in, although they were by no means worth the effort. |

Hence I stress that this is an unnecessary feature. They're putting serious thought into implementing something we don't want. You just don't do that. |
