The homework part's strange for me since I never do mine
But music helps me to concentrate in class, so I guess it's the same thing.. so nahh it's not strange. :P

It's not strange, I know some people who do better when listening to music. I do better without music though. |

It's a proven fact that musical people are good at math, and mathmaticians are good at musical things.
Maybe that's got something to do with it?

Whenever I try to listen to music while doing homework, I just end up listening to the music.

I can't sleep or do my homework with music going on. Probably because of my ADHD but I can't truly focus on more than one thing at a time.

Not to sound nerdy, but I'm a Mathlete, and I play four instruments and listen to music constantly.
There has to be some connection.

Well, if you play a instrument you're constantly using numbers for timing as you play.. |

I do it, if it's not really important homework. I do actually listen to the Born This Way CD before I got to bed once a week, which is strange. |

All my teachers, I am one unlucky fellow.
Anyway, music does not just help me understand math better (I don't know why, but I guess so)
But I also listen to music (Mostly Epica, it gets me the most creative) when I draw. |

Music only really "helps" me with English, Welsh and history, but I'm okay at the written subjects anyway. Maths is a lost cause for me, I don't think any amount of music could save me there. D:
