Base plate option

I personally HATE the terrain. It sucks, and it's a ripoff of another game. I hate how ROBLOX keeps expanding it, now you MUST use it. I hate how it's un-delete-able in edit mode. I hate EVERYTHING about it. Back to the point. So, now the only way to get the old base plate is only if you're fairly old, and just make the first game current (while configuring the game). You can build a baseplate over the terrain, but it's tacky. So, why not have an option for the old base plate. Just a black brick that is anchored with studs. Why not. And, while I'm at it, make it so ROBLOX Studio doesn't FREEZE all the time.

So, now the only way to get the old base plate is only if you're fairly old, and just make the first game current (while configuring the game). who cares you can just make a 500x500 brick black there you go You can build a baseplate over the terrain, but it's tacky. But you can also make one without the baseplate terrianed. So, why not have an option for the old base plate. Just a black brick that is anchored with studs. Because more new users like it, it works great with the stamper. The old one is dumb. Why not. Because it is dumb. And, while I'm at it, make it so ROBLOX Studio doesn't FREEZE all the time. Your computer.

How about they bring back the OLD setup where everyone was happy. I don't use ROBLOX studio because I feel like it takes a lot more time just to edit the rotation of the brick (CFrame) And I cant even make a GUI, so I'm practically lost in the scripting stuff.

Apparently, now if you had an old account on ROBLOX that had the old starter place - ROBLOX Content Deleted the old starter places just to get rid of the old baseplate on the older starter-places that were not changed. THATS how much they are obsessed with terrain! ITS CRAZEH!

How about you open a new place from studio, and then you won't have to deal with terrain.

I had baseplate before and the city you could make before terrain and now they have a house and terrain while i have a house and a city. Check me profile and check the places named ... (... means i did not make anything on it roblox did not put it as ... i did). So anyways yeah i don't like terrain, but i dealt with it.

I completely agree with you, but you can easily remove the terrain and if you liked the old baseplate, just center a black 512x512 plate at 0,0.6,0 and you have the Empty Baseplate again.
