Seriously. Why does Roblox take 10% off VIRTUAL money in our trades? It makes transferring money to another player a loss, and doesn't appear to have any real purpose.

Its 25% if im not mistaken they need to lower it to atleast 10%.

It teaches kids things. Much like the rest of ROBLOX. They teach us taxes, currency, etc.

This idea was already brought up but anyways, @Above I guess your right. It does point that out. So 50% Support

Complete support. I would be richer if they hadn't had that stupid fee.

The world doesn't revolve around sales tax. Even in big industrial america, I can go to New Hampshire and use three dollars to buy something that's three dollars.

Quit whining. Nuff said. It's there so people don't abuse and make a ton of money. ~Ohne dich bin ich nichts~

From a buisness standpoint, the only reason you shouldn't get full money for your sale is if you're selling it at a store, which means they gte a cut. In Roblox, it's a direct transfer from me to a customer. If we're going to "teach kids", let's do it right.

How can it be abused? If something is 50 RS, people are still going to pay that much anyway. It's the producer that gets a bad cut from this. It isn't whining if there's a good reason to remove it.

50% support, it is good as is except for selling limiteds which needs to be 10% instead of 25% ~ I use to have a good siggy, but I took an arrow the knee ~

Partially support. I do not understand why they did this. It teaches us about taxes for the future. However, no economy has a 25% tax for selling items. Lower it to 10% ROBLOX!

Sorry. Meant to say I do understand why they did this.

Not everyone grow sup to use sales tax. Even in the US, where I'm SURE people think it's global, there are states that have no sales tax. They should be teaching kids that tax should be enforced for a reason. In which case this isn't. There have been more than one countries born from rebelling against unfair taxes.

Wether your country/state does it or not, it's a valueable lesson. Just because I have no reason to visit France, I still want to learn French.

i give support. someone made a fourm about making "educational" games. Everyone thought that idea stunk. So what difference does "Teaching kids about taxes" make? All i say is i support this fourm

No. You REALLY need more money? "Oh, all my places, all the things I can sell, etc. etc" You need 10% MORE?! You don't go to a super market, and expect to have the very exact mount it says on the label. TAXES. It's not exactly a "Rare" even to see a tax. HINT. I vote we keep it. It's to prevent scammers and add logic and knowledge. You can give a person a dollar for a choclate bar at your school, or you could go to a store and buy it for around $1.06. Just sell more things, make more things. Also, when you MAKE things, you it for FREE. That's not logical, you have infinte, free supplies in the real world. -Oh, it's nothing special, just my BASS CANNON Cave Johnson;Sgt. Major Johnson

Support. It's just an irritating set back that we don't need. If I sold something for ten bucks, darn it I want my ten bucks. No exceptions. If roblox is trying to "teach" us, they are doing a terrible job at it. The official table flipper of S&I. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

I'd keep the Marketplace Fee. It keeps the ROBUX currency moving efficiently. Marketplace Fee is like taxes, and goes to ROBLOX, who in turn, makes more hats. Although, 25% is a little high. Maybe 10%? ~I am not a Mythbuster. I am a LogicBuster.~

This would make sense if we were using REAL currency of some sort to transfer. To Roblox. RS is just a stat they can type in to recieve. Seriously. And likewise, just because a large country uses sales tax doesn't mean Roblox should.

It's market taxes. That's how they get money so no.

It's annoying, but would you rather have big businesses leaders in the future that know nothing of taxes and stuff? It helps children learn stuff.
